9 BEDS / SLEEPS 10+ — ICONIC SUGARHOUSE HOME

Charming 2-story home centrally located in the heart of SLC's most iconic neighborhoods. This space is ideal for families or groups, a perfect home base for ski trips and other outdoor adventures! Easy access to everything that SLC has to offer (Airport ~15 min, Downtown Shopping/Dining ~10 min, Sugarhouse Park/Shopping/Dining ~5 min, University of Utah/Shoreline Hiking Trails ~10 min, Park City/Deer Valley Ski Resorts ~30-40 min, Solitude/Brighton/Snowbird/Alta Ski Resorts ~20-30 min).

You'll have private access to the entire space described! No access to basement or garage. Backyard access is shared with me. The house is set up as a mother-in-law, the host (me) is living in the basement. Guest's have completely private access to their rented space (main and upper floor), separate entry and lockable rooms.

As a local, I will be available via phone to provide tips, recommendations, or anything else to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am, however after booking if you have circumstances requiring an early check in or late check out, or you need to drop off luggage etc feel free to contact me and typically it is no problem as long as it doesn't conflict with cleaning.

Made us feel Happy and taken care of

Basil was great with communication. House was clean, inviting and relaxing. Parking was easy and right next to the entrance. Basics and extras were provided for bedding, bathroom and kitchen. Great washer & dryer. We slept comfortably on the beds. Easy access to highway to get to the ski hills, and plenty of stores and restaurants in the area as well. Would book again. Thank you for providing this rental space!

Convenient to the U

We were in town for our son’s graduation. The house. Is very convenient to the U and in a great location close to shops and restaurants in Sugarhouse. Properly was super clean. Bathroom upstairs is very small and the one downstairs that has the shower and the tub/shower combo was much larger and nicer. There are a lot of beds but truly only 2 actual bedrooms. You have to walk through the one with the bunk bed to get to the main one upstairs as it is more of a loft area. Perfect is you have smaller kids. The living room, dining room and kitchen were very comfortable. You can sleep a lot of folks here. Was perfect for our trip.

4 days in SLC

The house provided us with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was in a good location for hiking and visiting downtown, and the Great Salt Lake was about 30 minutes away. The bedrooms were a little warm while we were there, but it was hot outside. Quiet neighborhood allowed us to take nice walks in the morning and evening. Kitchen supplies were a little sparse while cooking for our group. Overall we were happy with the property.

Supercross finals/ bachelor party

We stayed at the Sugar house for a couple of nights to attend the supercross finals and a couple rounds of golf for a bachelor party. Basil was a great host and the home was very clean and presentable. The neighborhood was quiet and a very close to Sam Boyd stadium.

Great Place in Sugar House

Nice to have full house available for family gathering. Super comfortable living room to hang out and visit. Easy access to ski areas. Basil responded to all inquiries quickly. Would stay again!

Quiet neihborhood

Very comfortable and clean house for me and my 3 adult children for our annual Utah ski trip. Quick and convienent to the major highways for quick trips to the ski resorts. Great location in an old and quiet neighborhood with all the conviences of groceries, drug stores, restuarants and shopping. Short drive to the airport. Basil is a great host. The kitchen is eqiuped for preparing meals. Driveway parking is convient to the side door entrance with a nice mud room for ski gear storage The washer and dryer in the mud room is an asset. The family room is large and has comfortable furniture. You can't go wrong choosing this house. Thanks again Basil!

Fantastic

Place was perfect for our group - super comfortable after long ski days as the house had absolutely everything we needed & more. Just a quick walk to Sugarhouse park as well. Basil couldn’t have been more accommodating throughout our stay.

Great place!!

Very clean and very well stocked. Plenty of sleeping areas and all the essentials you need. Neighborhood was nice and close to shopping areas. We stayed for a football game and really enjoyed our time. The house has been updated very well.

Charming 1920's home

The house was impeccably clean. Wonderful bedding. Dense duvets. The home is well appointed with added details: multiple outlet/usb cubes near the beds, excellent selection of cooking utensils and spices, soaps, hair products, and lotions in both baths along with a blowdryer. Loved having access to laundry along with the laundry detergents provided. The house is in an ideal location to get anywhere. There is a wall AC downstairs and an evaporative cooler upstairs. Given the sudden and wide temperature swings, I would let Basil know ahead of time if the you will want the upstairs cooled. Basil is helpful, quiet, and has excellent taste.

The home was built circa 1940 and is the only 2-story home on the street. It is located in one of the safest neighborhoods in Utah. You'll be walking or biking distance to multiple parks and commercial areas with local cafes, restaurants and retailers. It is also just a few minutes drive to the nearest freeway entrance, making it super convenient to go downtown, out to the airport, or up to the mountains and ski resorts.

The best way to commute around SLC is via car, bike or ride sharing (Uber, Lyft etc).
