Discover this 2-bedroom gem in Salt Lake City. This historic house, originally built in 1891 but extensively remodeled in the 2020s, features an open design with a full kitchen and large counter space/seating area, 1 queen bedroom, 2 bathrooms with a bathtub and shower, a living room with a queen sofa bed, a small quiet bedroom with a twin bed, and a very big greatroom with a sofa, a dining table and ample windows. With amenities like WiFi, AC, heating, dishwasher, and washing machine and dryer, as well as off-street parking and an open back yard, proximity to downtown, the Salt Lake Latter-Day Saint Temple, to the University of Utah, and to five different hospitals, this comfy house is genuinely welcoming. The owner, a university professor, lives right across the street and will welcome you for a glass of wine sometime if you like.

Property was well appointed and had plenty of comfortable seating. We loved the bright great room which gave additional space to spread out or gather together. Location is excellent for the Huntsman. Plenty of parks within minutes of driving and a QUIET neighborhood.

Yes, it’s a charming house but also spacious, quiet, in a super location! This was our 1st time visiting Salt Lake City and my son 15 sprained his ankle when we were in Moab. This home was a perfect place to relax and recover. The host was superb, we didn’t need her for anything but loved she was available. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend to others.

Loved this place it was comfortable clean cute classic and so quiet. Even had off street parking! The host lives across the street and greeted us when we arrived. All communications with her was excellent. We would definitely recommend this property and will be back.

We had a wonderful time at Peggy's house. This place is full of charm, beautiful furniture and decoration, and it has a home away from home kind of feel. The dining room is surrounded by yes and filled with natural light, which made it into a nice place to hang out. The owner lives across the street and communication with her was very good. She was prompt to help with any small issue that occurred. We recommend and would love to stay again on another occasion.

We had a lovely stay in this historic home nestled in a quiet neighborhood! The home was perfect for the two of us amd had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner is the absolute best and offered so many helping hands with small things while we were there. We would come back just to spend time with her again! Love everyday we were here!

As advertised this is a charming house in a quiet neighborhood. For us it was a convenient home base from which to visit several local ski areas with short drives, then the convenience of downtown SLC each evening for dinners.

We were supposed to arrive mid to late afternoon but flight delays caused major problems and we finally arrived around 2 AM the next morning. We went to enter the property and our host was there to make sure we did not have any problems getting in. That is customer service!The place was great, I would stay there again. What a neat little gem in a wonderful neighborhood! It was quiet and we felt very safe. We loved the fenced yard for our dog and the fact that there were a couple of parks nearby to take her for a run. Margaret was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with! Although I grew up on the East Coast in Washington DC and have lived in multiple other places, I moved to Salt Lake City for a job as a professor of philosophy at the University of Utah many years ago. This is a wonderful city surrounded by mountains on one side and broad deserts on the other, endless recreational opportunities and extraordinary urban delights, especially its symphony, its dance companies, its astonishing Natural History Museum’s collection of dinosaurs, and much more.
Why do I host for VRBO? I love meeting people from all over the world, and, because I live right across the street, will happily invite you for a drink of your choice when you are here if you like. Meeting new people is a great delight.

This is a very congenial neighborhood in which all the neighbors on this block know each other, a neighborhood in the historic district. Yet you can be downtown by car in seven or eight minutes or at the University in just about the same amount of time. It is a remarkably well situated location for enjoying this city and the surrounding wilderness areas.

This little house spans a century and a half. It was originally built in 1891 and, located in the historic district, retains its simple front entrance and front rooms with traditional wainscoting and coziness. But the back end has been dramatically remodeled in the 2015s
– – a new modern kitchen, two new modern bathrooms, a great room that doubles as a second bedroom with wonderful light-flooding windows and a sense of space. It’s a kind of remarkable historic/modern combo that’s very comfortable to be in.
