This unique home away from home has been recently updated (2021) to provide guests the ultimate vacation spot with brand-new decor, granite countertops, Shiplap walls, five flatscreen TVs, free WiFi, and a full-size washer/dryer! When you book this charming escapade, you and your family will be granted access to a shared outdoor pool (open seasonally).

Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The accommodations were fine. Much of the outdoor future needed repair. I did not like working with a property management company (Vacasa) I would have preferred working directly with the owners.

The majority of the pools in town do not open until Memorial Day. We appreciate your feedback on the kitchen. We encourage guests to plan on bringing any items not explicitly listed as an amenity that are necessary for their trip. Please note that perishables, including coffee and K-cups, are not provided in order to ensure our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are continuously met. Beach Bliss

The property is in a great location. The short walk to the beach and pool are amazing. The back deck access to the beach was very convenient. We traveled with multiple families and the rooms/layout worked out very well for us. The bathroom towels and sheets being provided was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here next year.

Very Clean & Nice Renovation

This rental was extremely clean, had a very nice renovation, and is a good location. We didn’t cook but the kitchen had the essentials we needed, it also has a Keurig coffee maker. It had several large decks which are very nice & the living area was very comfortable. The king & queen size bed were very comfortable. Cons: It is geared more towards renters with small children, not adult or teenage children. The 4 twin beds have very thin, terrible mattresses on them, only small children would be comfortable on these, my teenage niece was uncomfortable on it. There are no trash cans in any of the bathrooms, The bathroom in the queen bedroom is extremely small. No full length mirrors & the Cable in the king bedroom did not work. This would be great for a family with a bunch of kids.

Review

The house was in a good location, close to the beach and businesses. It was not cleaned well and the furniture is low quality. There was sand on the floors and carpet, a colony of ants in the living room. Dirt and debris under the furniture was found and food in the cracks of the kitchen table. The linens were low quality and stained. A piece of the kitchen cabinet by the sink fell off onto a persons foot within 5 minutes and they were very lucky it was not a worse injury. The toilet in the bathroom by the kitchen was having issues flushing and needed plunged. The bathroom door on the top level would not close properly. The kitchen was mostly supplied well, I’d recommend adding hot pads. The rooftop has an excellent view.

Good location but could use some improvements

Pros: -Location was great, very close to beach with private walkway, close to 90 bridge, Fagers, indoor/outdoor mini golf -Check in and out were very easy Cons: -Many improvements are needed to the property. The outdoor water and shower did not work. We put in a service ticket to get this resolved but they didn't contact us until our stay was over. Chairs on the main level and lower level decks were broken and unable to be sat in by anyone over 50lbs. There is a broken latch on the outside deck door. There was a piece of 15ft molding lying on the floor of the master bedroom. There was a 2ft width break in the cement across the entire carport so getting in and out with a small car could cause damage. -Some items were lacking. There was no stopper on the only bathtub in the property making it difficult to bathe children. We were only provided 6 full size towels for our group of 8 and a condo with an 11 person capacity. The fridge was unusually small. Basic kitchen items were missing such as a working frying pan and can opener. -Overall Cleanliness was not great upon arrival. For example, banisters were very dirty and we didn't want to touch them going down the stairs. Also found a diaper behind one of the dressers. -Attic bedroom can hardly be considered a bedroom as ceilings were too low for an adult or child over 5ft, there was no closet, and the 'window' was a hole in the wall that had no shade over it to block out the sunlight -Neighbors not respectful of quiet hours

Nice place

Great location. Furniture needs updating. Entry doors could use rugs at them to combat sand being carried into the living space. Linens being provided is a big plus. View of the ocean from the top deck is awesome.

Overall the house was beautifully redone. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable. However, there were a few discrepancies from the listing as to what was actually in the house. For example, no toilet paper and toiletries were provided when it says on the listing there should have been. Communication was challenging since it was primarily through email. I had to send an email and wait for a response instead of having a phone number to call if needed on short notice. Some of the light switches didn’t work to turn on lights especially in the living space. I would most likely stay there again if I needed a place for a large group that was close to the beach. Also got to see beautiful sunsets from the roof top deck, that was a nice perk!

Beautiful location but management and property condition issues

First, the location could not have been better right along the beachfront. The positives stop there. Second, Vacasa boasts that it offers customer service 24/7. I called with an issue on Sunday morning and stayed on hold for 30 minutes with no answer. I then left a call back number which the message stated would be returned within 60 minutes. My call was never returned. Finally, Vacasa obviously does not put any money back into the property. In the main bathroom on the floor that sleeps 6 they have a shower head that was so weak that my daughters could not use as the shower would not rinse their hair. The same bathroom had a tub with peeling enamel. Vacasa provides a courtesy bag with toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. but there was no hand soap anywhere in the property or the courtesy bag. Other conditions include light bulbs being out and toilet seats that were not secured to the toilet. For the cost of the rental there should be a greater attention to details than was provided. Very disappointed.

Can't beat the proximity to the beach

This home is quaint, needs some updating, but it's lovely with it's pleasant beachy charm. My family of 7 fit nicely although the grandparents in the ground floor bedroom (because they couldn't manage the up and down so many stairs) didn't LOVE us coming through their bedroom when going to and from the pool. However it is the only way. The outdoor private shower is amazing, we put towels and soaps out there and it became the best shower in the place! The few steps to the beach was the best part.
