This place was extremely amazing. I stayed here for a little over a month and everything was perfect. It was centrally located to everything that a person meeded . Its rare to find places that maintains such high standards for there guests but they nailed it. 10/10 . The host is wonderful and truly cares about there guest experiences. Its a place i am going to miss. Hate to leave but will definitely be back
Overall, it was a nice tiny home that was comfortable for 2 people. Location is relatively close to areas of interest in San Antonio. The price was decent for what you pay for. The neighborhood was quiet while we were there, but it is a mobile home park that is in a condition of somewhat disrepair and cramped. When we arrived, someone was parked in our spot, but they did move soon after. We did find one dead roach in the bathroom, but none after that. The stairs to the bed loft are very steep, and the railing for the upstairs is not very protective of falling off. The address in a gps does not lead to the exact building, but rather to the front of the neighborhood. The location online is named the Eagle's Nest, but there's no sign at the building, only a lot number. On the first night, housekeeping knocked around 8:30 pm and didn't know we would be there. One of the bulbs in the kitchen light fixture was out.
I really enjoyed my stay here, I loved the quaint lively neighborhood, it's close to downtown, close to Fort Sam Houston, walking distance to a bunch of great restaurants, stores and the coolest mall I've ever seen⊠The Wonderland of the Americas. The property manager was great, super helpful, the place has everything you see here and more. The only negative was the water pressure in the shower was pretty low, and I had to take short showers because the hot water was limited. But I'm ex-military, and none of that is a big deal to me. Maybe not idea for some of the more "pampered" travelers, but for those that know how to do it, it's a great spot. I really love what they did with the place
It was an interesting alternative to a traditional hotel. We had to put up with some flying insects, but it was clean overall. More bath towels would have been welcome as it was an extended stay along with more trash liners. Thanks for hosting us.
Overall my stay was great, it is very quiet in the neighborhood and the little house is nice and comfortable. A couple of potential minuses for large/tall people is that the ceiling in the loft is really low and the shower head might be low for tall people, I'm 6'2" and the shower head was just above my head. Anyone taller than me will be banging up into it. Also the combination to the door lock is incorrect online, I tried it several times and it locked me out. But the keys work fine so I used those. If you have a Fubo account you'll probably want to log in to your account. When I first got there the TV was already logged in so I got to watch for a couple of days, but then it logged out so I had to watch videos on my phone because I don't have an account. The wifi worked great though, so it was no issue whatsoever. The house is in a trailer park that is quite trashy, but all the people were very friendly (the ones I saw at least) so I was not worried about my stuff or my safety. The price was great so I would recommend the property to anyone visiting San Antonio! The communication with the owner was great, he contacted me very quickly when I needed help.
