Welcome to The Ranch at Wine Country located in the heart of charming historic Gordonsville, VA. The Ranch provides all the essential amenities (condiments, tea & coffee, blow dryer, towels & much more!) and some to enjoy your time away whether it be for work or play! The Ranch is pet friendly w/ a large comfy dog bed and water & food bowls. The Ranch is just minutes from UVA, NGIC, Monticello and Fork Union Military Academy. Enjoy private parking, eye catching décor and a complimentary bottle of wine!

The Space:
Your recently, fully remodeled and fully furnished 1972 Kingsbury Ranch home is going to be your new home away from home! Enjoy 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bath with gorgeous décor (most handmade by your host) and cozy country feel with a relaxing fully furnished carport turned oak wooden den to enjoy the natural gas fire place along with wine cooler, complimentary bottle of wine and flat screen tv. Relax, unwind and pull up a seat... we are glad to have you!

Home and amenities exactly as pictured. It was a welcome location which was nearby to what we wanted to do (close to C'ville, UVA, and wineries). The host kindly provided recommended local spots to eat and drink which were nice - definitely check out Patch Brewing if coming thru town. Very friendly for our dog as well :)

The ranch was clean. Conveniently located to Charlottesville, drove to Monticello without getting on the highway. Enough to do around the town, we really enjoyed our stay!

Wedding weekend

We had a wedding at a local winery and this was the perfect venue for our group. Had a great time. The host was incredibly accommodating and was flexible with check in so we could have time to get ready. Only thing is the ladies wished there was a full length mirror for getting ready. Otherwise no complaints.

Quick Getaway at The Ranch

Our stay at The Ranch was a brief and quick one but it was a fantastic one! It was a last minute decision and one of the best we could have ever made. The hosts were phenomenal to work with in giving detail instructions for check in and check out. They also gave suggestions for the area as well. The house was beautiful and is as advertised. Had everything we needed for our one night stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone and hope to come back for a long stay ourselves!

Enjoyed our short stay!

Our family enjoyed our 1 night stay. Cozy house layout and comfy beds. We spent some time in the backyard also. Peaceful and quiet area. We also were able to visit the local brewery which was family friendly. Great communication with the owners too!

Wonderful stay in wine country

Our stay at this property was nothing short of amazing. It is beautiful in and out. The host went overboard decorating and finishing this home perfectly. The beds were very comfy, and everything else just begged us to relax and enjoy. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, very close to some of the best vineyards we’ve ever visited in Virginia and also American historical attractions. This will go down in our memories as one of the best vacations we’ve ever had.

Great Place to stay and our fur babies loved it!!

The house was beautiful with all the special welcoming touches even for our dogs. The beds were very comfortable after our long days. The large shade tree with a swing underneath is very relaxing. We really love our stay and felt right at home. The check in and out was seamless. I whole heartly recommend this house. Thank you so much Victoria!!!!!

We didn’t actually stay here

We were in the middle of trying to plan a funeral and pack up the kids and were looking for accommodations during this hectic time. Even though we didn’t stay here we greatly the consideration and accommodating this owner was willing to make.

Overnight Stay

We were unfortunately in town for an end-of-life situation. So comforting to have a clean and comfortable place to stay with so much else on our mind. The house is very clean and comfortable and perfect for our family and our two small dogs. Very welcoming. Beautifully decorated. The neighborhood felt safe and parking was plentiful.

Wonderfully Remodeled Ranch House - perfect for exploring Central VA wineries and trails

The ranch is beautifully handcrafted and decorated so you feel like you are staying in a model home. The space is well laid out and is perfect for a couple of families. We also had two little kids and they loved the play area. The town of Gordonsville is old and quaint. We enjoyed our down time there between visiting wineries and Charlottesville. Our favorite place was Market Grelen where we went Blue Berry and Blackberry picking. The BBQ Exchange is a definite must for eating at or bringing it back to the Ranch. The house is a beautifully decorated place to stay and the hosts are on top of everything with wine, snacks and all the amenities. Great little weekend get away from DC to really see the countryside.

The Ranch @ Gordonsville VA

We were planning a trip to Charlottesville and rented The Ranch in nearby Gordonsville, VA. Ended up spending most of our trip within a few miles of the house. Fun little main street and some good food and beer nearby. The house was very nice, clearly recently renovated and very clean and welcoming. Had every comfort of home, even nice friendly neighbors. Would recommend Champion Ice House and a trip to Patch Brewery for some beer and outdoor fun. Got coffee every morning at East of Maui. Charlottesville was only about 20-25 minutes away and did get there for a day trip. Will probably come back again in warmer weather to take advantage of the wineries and outdoor activities and look to stay again at The Ranch. Thanks for a great vacation.

Felt Like Home Away from Home

We attended a wedding nearby and needed a close place to stay. We were very pleased with The Ranch. T and Victoria really do make you feel so special. Here's why we loved our stay - Upon entering, there is a welcome sign with your name on it. Personal touches seem like a thing of the past, and this was a very kind gesture. - Complimentary bottle of wine? Count me in! This wasn't just a "free bottle of wine." This was another kind gesture and a way of saying "relax while you're here!" - Cleanliness was top notch and amenities seemed new and in great shape. - It's all in the details. Decor was nice. You can tell they put a lot of effort into the look and feel of the property. - Speaking of effort, the "before and after" photo album was amazing. Awesome to see the renovations and the beautiful talent and hard work they put into this place. - Neighbors are friendly and we felt safe. The town of Gordonsville is a short walk and has many boutiques, cafes/ restaurants, etc. Good to know before arrival - There is a picnic table and bench swing in backyard, which we enjoyed. The picnic table area can get really hot and the swing bench is in more of a shady area, There are no patio chairs. We love to be outside and should have brought our own lawn chairs to sit in the shady spots. - Bring bug spray! - Kitchen and game room table are not very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a larger table with backs on our chairs, especially for the older people.

Lovely Stay in Gordonsville!

The property is just lovely - the owners made wonderful choices with layout, finishes and decor and take great care of the property. It is clean, comfortable and charming. We appreciated all of the little touches like snacks, dog food bowls/bed, games, etc. They are very responsive and easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Gordonsville!

Great stay

Went for UVA football game. Charlottesville was only 20 minutes or so away but area was nice and quiet. Plenty of places close to eat. Beds were nice and comfortable. Would not hesitate staying there again if we go back to the area. Also a lot of wineries within an hour drive.

Our bachelorette weekend!

The Ranch was amazing! It was hands down the cleanest and nicest property any of us had stayed in. Victoria was so responsive to any questions we had, and the check in and check out instructions were so thorough. She has everything you could need stocked for you & was always available to us. Everything you need for a perfect getaway

Victoria and T are fantastic hosts! From the moment we made the reservation until after check out the communication was prompt, complete, and super friendly! They have beautifully redone their ranch home and it has everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable experience. Clean, modern, and with so much attention to the smallest details that make your stay that much more pleasant. Our kids and our dog enjoyed the huge yard. Beds were all very clean and comfortable. The place was immaculately maintained and stocked with water, snacks, and a complimentary bottle of wine. Great location in a quiet little village. We walked to great places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thank you for a great stay!
