Experience the laid-back island life at this tropical condo at the oceanfront Sugar Beach Resort. Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the lanai with a stunning view of the ocean and the pool, and your afternoons enjoying on-site amenities, including the pools, hot tub, sauna, and access to one of Maui’s best beaches for strolling, sunning, and swimming. The full kitchen is well-equipped for prepping your favorite recipes, and there’s plenty of space to gather for mealtime, board games, and puzzles between the living and dining areas. A washer/dryer and central air-conditioning add convenience during your stay.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Nice place great view

It was me and my wife first time in Mauie and this place we picked in Suger Beach was almost like staying at home. The place was very cozy and close to everything and a great View sitting out on the Lanai

Quaint but dated

The resort was lovely, amazing for the price really but the room itself is dated and areas are moldy. The washing machine smells pretty bad and I had to buy new pillows since the ones provided were completely flat and hard. The blankets are straight out of the mid 20th century. That said, the view is great, main bed was comfortable, pull out bed was very uncomfortable, and I would Stay there again for the resort pools, beach and convience of location!

Stay for the location and pool, not the condo!

This condo unit needs some love. Only one burner worked on the stove, only 2 beach towels and 3 bath towels are included, everything felt dingy. No sponge but only 5 forks so you have to hand wash or run the dishwasher constantly. Screen on lanai door was coming undone. However
the pool area is amazing and the maintenance crew takes excellent care of the pool and garden. We love sugar beach but wouldn’t stay in this unit again.

Great location - fabulous beach

Although this is an older property it was very clean. The bed was comfortable, the bath towels were brand new, the kitchen was well equipped and the location was fantastic. It was great to have access to a washer and dryer.

Beautiful location, lots of road noise

We loved the sugar beach location, it's a beautiful long stretch and the surf was so mild! We loved morning walks on the beach, watching the canoe crews row and swimming in the shallow, mild surf. The condo was very nice and comfortable. The only drawback was the road noise! And it was horrendous... Instead of the surf, we had the sound of construction vehicles, motorcycles and other cars zooming down the road, directly behind the condo. Because this unit is second to last, meaning almost furthest away from the ocean, its proximity to the street is far greater than the beach.... We would definitely stay at Sugar Beach again but we would rent an ocean facing unit instead.

Lovely but dates

The unit needs to be updated, old carpet should be taken out and bathroom needs a complete overhaul. It’s a great location and we enjoyed the resort itself but just felt for the money paid it should be more updated.

Sugar Beach Baby!

We had a great experience on Maui. The condo was outdated, but nice. The kitchen was nice for meal prepping, having laundry in unit was excellent after many active days, and the provided beach towels were much needed. We had incredible views of whales breaching and swimming as well as a great view of the sunset every night, all from the lanai. The Sugar Beach Resort itself was nice, but felt like a retirement community. It felt like we were visiting our grandparents on vacation. Probably good for kids.

Beautiful condo right on the beach

We had a wonderful stay here at the Sugar Beach Resort for 8 nights. The property is very well maintained and has amazing views of the ocean. Our condo PH04 was quite nice, a bit outdated with furniture and decor but still has all the amenities and supplies you need. We cooked almost all of our meals here and the kitchen was well stocked. One of the only downfalls were the towels and facecloths. After one use and they got slightly damp, they were quite smelly and had almost a BO odour to them. That’s an easy fix of just replacing the towels or simply just bring your own. We used our beach towels and that worked fine as there is a washer and dryer right in the condo which came in handy. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay here as it was our first time in Maui and would highly recommend this place to family and friends!

Very clean.

Very clean, equipped with all essentials. Amazing view of beach. Just needs updating, remodeling. We were a large group occupying different rooms in this property. For the same price, the other rooms were ultra modern with updated floors, counters, appliances and with new furnishings.
