You'll enjoy one of the very best in accommodations in the Newly reconstructed 4 BR, 2.5 bath 3 story Private Retreat. Make your family memories here and enjoy the private setting on the Outdoor patio & barbecue or relax on the back enclosed porch. Play a game of Corn Hole Bean Bag Toss in the large private yard or relax by the fire pit and un-wind over drinks.

This property is located across from Congdons Donuts and Breakfast and nearby to the Famous Wells Steak House and Mikes Clam Shack and Sports Bar this area's most popular restaurants and entertainment & Recreational attractions.

The House features 2 Queen size 2nd floor bedrooms, one with a rear deck overlooking the Wells Harbor Shore and One first-floor King size bedroom. Each BR is furnished with its own TV. There is also a Bonus 3rd-floor private suite offering spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean Wells Harbor and sleeping accommodations for 4. The living room is comfortably furnished with seating around the LED fireplace and a large flat screen TV to enjoy streaming movies. The dining room is a great place to gather for relaxing or a group meal.

Great stay for family

We stayed here to attend my cousins wedding. My 98 year old grandfather almost tripped a few times in the living room near the fireplace but other than that we very much enjoyed staying here all together! Great property very close to everything we needed.

This is a spacious and newly renovated house. The overall process for our stay was easy and communication was good. The house is on a busy, main road. However, the location is close to town and other services and that was great.

I stayed at this residence with my family (3 couples and 1 infant). The place is beautiful and located in a prime location (close to beach, walking distance from restaurants and amenities). The host responded quickly to any questions.

Home Away from Home with A View

Newly renovated beach-themed home with its historical farmhouse charm. A lot of room for our family. Loved 2nd floor deck & 3rd floor suite both w/oceanviews-so ideal!

Family Beach Trip

We enjoyed our time at the property. The location is just a short drive to the beach. The property was clean. We unfortunately had to cut the trip short due to a medical emergency. The only negative was upon arrival the code for the door was not what was provided in the welcome letter. That was rectified quickly.

Vacation

Excellent property, location and Property manager. Responsive to all our questions and taking care of any concerns we might have had, which were very minor. Proximity to the local towns and beach a definite plus!! Would recommend for future rentals and plan a return visit!

Conveniently located family vacation

This house was conveniently located on Route 1 in Wells, about 10-15 minute drive from Ogunquit. It was plenty spacious enough for our group of 5 - myself, my two teen/tween daughters, and my parents. Everyone had their own space and the common spaces were comfortable. The walk to the beach took about 20-25 minutes, and Congdon's, Walgreens, a mini golf place and Hannaford are all within easy walking distance. The large backyard with gas grill and gas fireplace were such a perk, though the patio area could use a little work and would be a hassle with small children - lots of tripping hazards. The traffic from Route 1 could be noisy at times, and the window unit air conditioners were loud, though effective at keeping the whole house cool. The windows had only blinds, no curtains, so we were up with the sun - bring your earplugs and eye mask. The kitchen was small but well stocked. Beds and furniture were comfy and clean. The driveway had plenty of room for multiple cars. Overall a great option for our multi-generational family getaway!

Cousin reunion in Wells

We were all very impressed with the rental and how comfortable and spacious it was for four different families. We wish the third floor also had a shower and extra blankets would have been a plus as well but those are pretty minor compared to having a screen porch, a gas fireplace inside and outside, and a large kitchen and refrigerator. We also took advantage of walking across the street one night to the food trucks for dinner...perfect for everyone's different preferences! Leo also was there within five minutes when the downstairs air conditioner tripped a fuse...he was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you, Leo, and we hope to return next year!

Clean & Comfortable

This was as promised. Clean and comfortable. Never ran out of hot water with 6 people showing back to back, this was awesome. Very close to lots of conveniences a plus. The only negative, was that we were right on Rte 1, with super high traffic. With two kids under 10 this was a concern.

Would recommend and go back!

We typically stay in york so i was a little apprehensive about staying in wells but it was a perfect general location to everything and we needed the space to hold more family for coming up from FL for just 2 night and this was one of the only properties that was willing to rent for the weekend. Perfect amount of space and really I’m enjoyed the screen room and back patio area!

Nice home close to the beach!

We had a wonderful week at the house. 5 adults stayed comfortably with amble space for privacy from each other when needed. Everything had recently been refinished amd the place is really great with a screened in porch! Would definitely stay here again!

Very convenient, Roomy, Newly updated - Donuts !

We visited early August with 5 adults and one six year old. Very convenient to many services. Very Simple 3 minute drive to the Wells beaches. Walk to putt-putt. Congdon’s famous donuts/breakfast, and evening time food trucks across the street. You’ll love them and make some nice memories. Kitchen is small but well stocked. It was in the 90s and the A/C window units worked well on all floors. Big, big plus versus most beach houses. The large, unique umbrella out back does a great job of shading the table for everyone. Parking was easy. 2-1/2 baths was a help with our group. Would have been 4.5 stars except top floor bedroom ceiling slope is very easy to bunk your head. Nice sitting area on the top floor room. We had been concerned about road noise from hwy 1 - but it wasn’t an issue for us. Being able to jump in the car and easily drive to Kennebunk, the Raptor putt-putt, the many great seafood places was great. Very short walk to the Walgreens was also a plus. The cozy living room was nice for gathering to chat after a busy day. Would recommend.

Great newly renovated house

My family spent 2 weeks at this newly renovated Wells house. Convenient access to Ogunquit, Wells, Kennebunkport and the rest of Southern Maine. House is well appointed and clean. The only challenge is that it is right on Route 1, so it can be a little noisy and hard to pull out of the driveway.

Great property with Donuts AcrossThe Street

This is a beautifully remodeled older home. 4 good sized bedrooms with memory foam beds provided excellent sleeping conditions. All new bathrooms, flooring, kitchen and appliances. Property responded quickly to one minor issue. The only knock is that it’s right in the Post Road (Rt 1), so pulling out of the driveway was a chore. I would recommend this rental for any larger family.

Great place to stay!

This house is in a perfect location. Next to a ton of things to do. The house itself was clean, comfortable, well equipped and very welcoming. Leo was a wonderful host. He was easy to get ahold of and accommodating. We are grateful to have found this property and would love to stay again. Highly recommend.
