Please note, there is a potential for noise at this property as it is one apartment in a 2 apartment standalone duplex home, and the other unit may be occupied by other guests in another party. This unit is on the 1st floor and the other unit is above.

The West End Historic District is full of culture, charm and character. The house is in a residential area and the area and street are quiet and safe. The area is very urban and feels such - you are smack in the middle of a huge metropolitan area - and the West End is a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood. You'll find numerous homes restored to their previous glory next to new construction, as well as homes still in need of renovation. There are several cultural and historical landmarks in the neighborhood such as Hammonds House and Wren's Nest, and our home itself is historic (1920). Our guests love how close the neighborhood is to Atlanta favorites and conferencing sites and the rarity to find such a large home so close to the downtown.
The home is ideally located in the West End Historic District, with easy access to downtown, I-20, I-75/85 and public transportation. Both downtown Atlanta and the airport are a quick drive or a no-transfer ride on MARTA, it's one mile to the MARTA train station from the house.
