What to Expect Outside the Home...

Located in the sought after Rocky Springs Community, (30 min from Jasper, 30 minutes from Cullman) this spectacular home sits on 1.84 acres with 250 feet of lake frontage. It has a covered boathouse, with almost the largest dock footprint allowed. The dock is equiped with two jet ski pads, a boat slip, swimming ladder, deck furniture, night lights and a large deck area for sunning, swimming, floating, fishing & enjoying sunset cocktails. At night the fishing is enhanced by the home's underwater fishing light system.
4 Kayaks, 2 Paddle Boards and a 6 x 18 ft Floating Lilly Pad are included for your stay.

What to Expect Inside the Home...

A spectacular, extremely spacious, open-concept, craftsman’s style, lake home with 20 foot cathedral ceilings. Custom-built and professionally decorated. High-end furnishings throughout. Expansive covered decks, with 270 degrees of panoramic lake views. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the rear decks & patio. FULLY EQUIPPED kitchen!

The gourmet kitchen is appointed with stainless steel appliances, an oversized island, a spacious pantry, "leathered" granite countertops and features a 36 inch induction cooktop and the Advantium Speed Cook Microwave system.

The formal dining table seats 8 and 6 can comfortably eat at the nearby kitchen island. There is also a "covered outdoor" oversized, harvest table which seats 10. Enjoy grilling on the extra-large new, Blackstone barbeque.

There is also a three-season screened-in porch with a 30 inch television, also having fabulous lake views.

There is a large, main floor living room w/ reclining leather sofas & chairs. It has a sea of windows with lake views and soaring cathedral ceilings. It has a gas fireplace and 57-inch smart TV. There are lots of board games provided for your stay and for your movies and listening enjoyment there is a 3 zone, whole house, sound system.

The home has 3 generous master bedrooms with king beds and televisions, a bunkroom with 6 built-in twin beds and one room with a double bed.

There are 4 full bathrooms with granite and ceramic finishes.

The home's lower level features a second living area, with oodles of comfy seating and 54 inch smart TV. It is also equipped with a kitchenet, with a second refrigerator, sink and a coffee maker. It has 180 degrees of panoramic lake views and walks out to an expansive patio with ample outdoor seating and steel propane fire pit.

This home is rented out directly by the Owner, who lives 20 minutes away from the home. This home is only rented for 2 months a year and is lovingly maintained.

We have stayed at various homes at Smith Lake over the past 5 years. This was our favorite! It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and the manager/owner was very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend this place.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Smith Lake. The house was beautiful, well kept up, with a lovely view of the lake. The configuration of the sleeping areas fit us fine. There was plenty of water toys included with our stay which kept all the kids occupied. The owner was pleasant to work with and kept check on us to make sure things were going well. Overall excellent stay!

perfect weekend getaway

enjoyed a wonderful (3) family getaway labor day weekend here and everyone had a fantastic time. plenty of space to spread out inside and out and it sits on a perfect location on the water. we hope to be back!

Best views on the lake!!!

My family loved the lake house, and the location on the lake. The house was beautiful, with wonderful views. The boat dock was set up for fun in the sun or family game night. It was also great place to fish. I would recommend this house for anyone looking to rent lake house.

Wonderful in every way!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The house is gorgeous, the location is wonderful and so close to the water. The house has everything you need. Our only problem is that our stay was too short. We will definitely book again and stay for longer. A totally wonderful experience.

Such a great home!

I am so glad we rented this house. 11 of us stayed here for a week. There was plenty of room, the beds were super comfy, the kitchen had all the supplies we needed to cook with all week, the dock had plenty of chairs and lounge seats, and the views!! I can’t say enough about this place. Fiona was quick to answer any questions we had. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect home!

It was a perfect 60th birthday weekend for my husband. We had our adult children with us and one grandchild. Beautifully furnished home and very clean. Wonderful kitchen that has anything you would need. Our first time at Smith Lake— beautiful clear water!

Smith Lake Vacation

The property is great very peaceful and quiet the family loved it the only problems was the spiders. There was numerous spider webs and spiders on the porches and also on the boat dock but other than that it is a very clean and spacious place for a family vacation and Smith Lake is absolutely beautiful we will go back.

Great week at Smith Lake

Our entire family had a wonderful week relaxing, swimming, skiing and just enjoying the views of the lake. The home is beautiful and we all had room to spread out. The kitchen was wonderful and we took turns cooking and baking. We had several meals on the porch, which is beautiful and has plenty of room for everybody. We hope to return next summer and do the same exact thing again :o)

First Smith Lake Vacay

We are a lake family and this was our first trip to Smith Lake. Heron's Haven is a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious and designed for large crowd comfort. Loved the large island, pantry storage, and ample seating for dining or lounging inside and out on the two porches. Delightful breeze and fabulous pier for boats and big kid toys. Decided Heron's Haven had everything when we found a sewing kit in the miscellaneous drawer to remove a splinter! Thanks Fiona and David for a wonderful week.

Family Fun!

Our family gets together every summer to relax and have fun. We celebrated a 30th birthday at the lake house, grilled out, went out on a pontoon boat, wake boarded, went tubing and just relaxed in the water. We have stayed at many VRBO rentals (at the lake, beach, mountains). This BY FAR was the most well stocked!! From linens to kitchen supplies. We had the best time being together. The views are amazing and the area is so quiet, a perfect place to relax. The one problem that we had was with our garbage. There were 2 large cans (that were already full we got there because the garbage only runs on Monday). We ended up having to load our garbage in our truck and bring it home with us.

Most Amazing Smith Lake Stay Yet!

We were absolutely blown away by this property from the moment we arrived. The neighborhood is serene and so nice, and this property is absolutely stunning. From the beautiful decor to the amazing lake views, this property was, by far, the best we’ve ever stayed at on Smith Lake. We had 14 family members from 3 different households, and there was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and be comfortable. The outdoor space was our favorite part - the upper deck, lower level patio, screened-in porch, and the dock were all SO well-furnished and the perfect setup for spending the majority of our time outside enjoying the lake views. A couple of minor issues arose with one of the toilets and the ice maker, but Fiona was SO responsive and immediately addressed them. To say we were happy with our stay is an understatement. Typically, we are underwhelmed at properties that appear grander in pictures and online, but do not quite live up to the advertised grandeur when we arrive - this property was absolutely the exception as the pictures online simply do not do it justice. Thank you for an amazing stay and for the wonderful memories we made at Smith Lake.

Family Reunion 2022

This is a well decorated lake house that had plenty of space for the 12 of us, 7 adults and 5 grandkids. Everything mentioned on the VRBO site was there. A number of items didn't work properly. For example, the pans for the induction range are old and were very difficult to clean, and some items in the home were broken. We did our best to fix what we could, and with the help of Fiona (the manager/owner) we were able to get some issues resolved quickly. With proper housekeeping, the basement drain wouldn't have backed up with every shower, and the foul smell from the septic system (which was easy to fix once the owners knew about it) would have never been an issue. Also, the Traeger grill would have been cleaned. With all that said, we'd still rent this home again if we were planning on going to Smith Lake. The home and dock were fantastic for our group, and Fiona did everything we asked for. Terry & Nancy

I am so pleased to hear that you were so happy with our team's exceptional responce time to any of your concerns. Unfortunately the guest that stayed before your stay, had some mishaps that we quickly, as you note, repaired / addressed right away. The septic system has a pump and grind which had a tripped the breaker - which is why this was so quick to fix. Wish you had let us know about the pots and pans - we would have addressed immediately - as we did with any concerns that you called us about during your stay. Amazing Lake House

We have stayed at a lot of homes at Smith Lake. This one has the best porches you can find!! The views are spectacular. The home was so clean and has everything you need! The boat dock was perfect for watching the sunset and fishing and enjoying the beeeze. We ate dinners outside on the upper porch and listed to the windchime. It was so relaxing. TV’s in every room we used. It was perfect. We loved the fire on the fall evenings in the house too. Full surround sound speakers on the porches and inside the home! We will be back. Rocky springs community is wonderful. We went running every morning on the loop that’s in the neighborhood. Book your stay now!!!

Great location

Pros…Location! In reality (not the pics) the house is nice but it needs some TLC in the outside areas. Nicely decorated and previous renters over time, like myself have left the basic kitchen spices to get you started. Cons… Chair cushions definitely need some replacement. It’s not the owners fault on this one but internet service sucks even with the extenders. That’s just a negative of staying far from civilization. Hope you like TNT cause that’s all you’ll be watching in the upstairs spare bedroom. Lol. The downstairs master, never got that one to work. Oh well we didn’t come to watch much tv anyways. A big con would be the cleanliness of the home. Initially you’ll think it’s fine but give it 10 minutes. The microwave and the oven was deplorable! Dishes left in dishwasher. You could write your name on the dust of the bases of the lamps in the home…we did or just the not dusted things period. Dead bugs in kitchen drawers, ring in upstairs bathroom toilet, a lot of random things. If this was my home I’d find me a new cleaning crew. We’re overpaying for the job they’re doing.

Spring Fever!

You will not regret renting this lovely home. So many things about the property make it a perfect place to get away to. I was amazed at the cleanliness of the property, the wonderful location for walking, and the proximity to the water. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and a variety of areas to sit and take in the lake views! Perfect!
