Clearwater Shores on Smith Lake, AL with stunning lake views is a 3,800 SF 5 Bedroom, 3 1/2 Bathroom Lake Home with incredible long views of Smith Lake and Kinney Mountain in the Simpson Creek/Ryan Creek area. Just 15 minutes from I-65. Sleeps up to 12 including 3 King Bedrooms with lake views from bed, 1 King Family Suite with adjacent Bedroom with 2 Double Trundle beds (4 Twins). 4 Kings is very rare! Perfect for 4 couples with a few kids. Dog friendly!

Clearwater Shores vacation home has a very comfortable, large updated Living Room with a relaxing seating area with great views adjacent to a newly renovated fully equipped gourmet Kitchen with an island with NEW Samsung stainless steel appliances plus Dining on a custom-made square dining table for 12 plus 3 bar stools on the new kitchen island. There is also a Large Flat Screen Smart TV. There is a recently added built-in Beverage Center off the new Kitchen. The adjacent Main Deck has plenty of new Pollywood seating including a dining table for 10 and a bar height table with three chairs…all with incredible views and a new Traeger Smoker Grill.

There is great 12 volt, switched and solar lighting located throughout the property...stairs, fences and rock outcroppings. The lighting creates a great mood in all areas. Guests comment about the amazing lighting frequently.

The Lower-Level Family Room is perfect for families or groups of friends...with a pool table, air hockey, four vintage video games (new "old time" NFL game), piano, guitar and Large Flat Screen Smart TV to watch "the game". Even the Lower Level still has dramatic views of the lake. There is outdoor table and seating for four on the patio plus a Weber Grill for those who don't use the Traeger. Play cornhole on the flat lawn just outside the door.

The Bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. Three of them (Kings) have incredible views of Smith Lake. There are blackout drapes so our guests can sleep in! We can fit a blow-up mattress in two of the King Bedrooms if necessary. We have them for you. We just need to know to set them up. The Master has a large, newly renovated en-suite bathroom.

Our guests love the Outdoor Spaces! There are numerous outdoor areas with comfortable seating...on the Main Floor Deck with all new Pollywood furniture with a Traeger Grill, a Patio on the Lower Level with seating, a swing and a Weber Grill plus two flat lawn areas for games or relaxing. The Lakeside Deck now has a Pavilion with soft seating and a bar with an Owner-made "river table" top, four blue Adirondack Chairs and a Solo Stove Firepit, Owner-made bench...spectacular views. Enjoy the new Swing Chair hand-made in Colorado too. Clearwater Shores has a brand-new Dock with a Guest Slip to use for their own boat or a rental. Swim off the new dock Swim Platform into the clear Smith Lake. There are numerous places to rent pontoons and jet skis.

Clearwater Shores has a NEW wall mural created by local Cullman, AL artist Laura Walker that runs the 140' length of the driveway. It is incredible and our guests love looking at it...but, also trying to find the 11 things that are different than the rocks and trees that make the majority of this amazing wall mural. Worth the stay on it's own!

There is a laundry area with a full-sized washer and dryer plus an iron and ironing board on the Main Level There is a supply of laundry detergent as well. We have dog bowls and a few treats for our fury friends.

Smith Lake is about 21,200 acres with about 660 miles of shoreline. It is the second cleanest lake in the United States next to Lake Tahoe. You can see to the bottom in a lot of places...but, it is also deep and very swimmable. It is one the best fishing lakes in the Southeast with Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Stripers, Hybrids and more. Smith Lake is home to numerous fishing tournaments held throughout the year. There is parking for trucks and trailers for our professional and amateur fisher people.

Clearwater Shores is truly special. If you haven't read about it yet...these are some of the best views on the lake. Also, it feels very private! Clearwater Shores is close to Trident Marina by boat (12 minutes) or car (9 minutes) which has a great restaurant called The Grille at Trident Marina...and boat rentals. It is also close to Smith Lake Park and Smith Lake Marina...home to the Sugar Shack for "goodies" and lake toys plus the all new Drifters Restaurant. There is a boat or PWC slip for our guests right in front of Clearwater Shores on our dock. It is also an easy drive to Smith Lake State Park which has a public ramp. By the way, the fishing is excellent! Largemouth and Spotted Bass, Striped Bass, Crappie and Catfish! There is even fly fishing for Rainbow Trout below the dam on the Black Warrior River. Clearwater Shores is equal distance (about an hour) from both Birmingham, AL and Huntsville, AL and just 15 minutes off Highway I-65 at Exit 299 (Dodge City, AL). This unique lake home is less than 2 1/2 Hours from Nashville, TN, 90 minutes from Chattanooga, TN, a little over 3 Hours from Memphis, TN and Atlanta, GA and about 4 Hours from Jackson, MS. Best place to fly into is probably Birmingham or even Nashville.
