Conveniently and centrally located. Close to Old Town Alexandria or DC---this updated house is a perfect home away from home. Minutes away from 495 & 395. Whether you are traveling on business or on a family vacation, the home is comfortable for the entire family with 3 private bedrooms, 1 living room & 1 large basement with pullout sofa, plus space for an air mattress. The enclosed yard is perfect for the kids & your pets. The home is nested in a quiet neighborhood with restaurants and stores close by.

Home is a split level separated by six steps each level. You enter to kitchen/dining. Walk down 6 steps to basement for pullout full bed. From kitchen, walk up 6 steps to first bedroom with queen bed. Walk up another six steps for second bedroom with full size bed and the master bedroom with king size bed.

Our home is located in a quiet family neighborhood down the road from an elementary school. Our driveway can accommodate 3 to 4 cars based on the size.

The home features two separate living spaces both equipped with large screen TVs which have Fire Sticks or Roku conveniently installed. Log in to your favorite streaming apps and enjoy your shows as a family or the kids in one space and the adults in the other.

The home is equipped with the latest smart technologies such as smart lock for a keyless entry, plus bedside lamps with USB outlets.

The kitchen is ready for the home chef to prepare meals at home. It is well-stocked with the essential utensils, pots, and pans.
If you feel like grilling outdoor, then a cozy patio and dining area waits for you while you are grilling on the dual charcoal or gas grill.

We won't be present during your stay unless there is an emergency at the home. We reserve the right to stop by the property at anytime but will aim to give you at least 2 hours notice.

There are 2 cameras located on the outside of the home for the safety of our guests. One on the front porch looking at the front door and driveway and one on the back porch looking at the backyard. They are used for security purposes only.

Note: some spaces, closets, and boxes are blocked off or otherwise labeled as not for guest use. You will have access to 3 Br, 3ba, kitchen, living room, Laundry, and basement.

Great spot for seeing D.C.

This home was a great base for our family trip to D.C. It has convenient access to 395 and generally an easy drive into the district and seeing all the monuments, museums, and public buildings D.C. has to offer.

Graduation Weekend

My family had a wonderful stay at the house. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to DC. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The house had everything we needed, down to toiletries and kitchen amenities. There was ample space for us to spread out, and the decor was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great location

Property is close to almost everything, located in residential neighborhood. People park on both sides of the street so it is difficult to get through if someone is coming in the opposite direction. The house is great except the carpets are stained. The 2 upstairs rooms didn't cool down as much as we would like and the basement was almost too cold. Would stay here again though.

Great rental experience/choice for DC area visit

Hershey house was a great choice for our family wedding weekend. I especially liked the huge walk-in closet in the MBR with access to the bathroom and beautiful shower. Bed was comfy. Living area was perfect for gathering with comfortable seating. Couch could easy be used for sleeping if needed. Kitchen is bright and cheery and well stocked. The home is on 3 levels plus basement with stairs between kitchen and living room, and between living room a 2 of the bedrooms. Nice location…easy to hop on expressways and an easy Uber or drive to the Van Dorn metro stop. Host responded promptly to questions and was very accommodating. This is a great rental for your DC visit.
