Idle Time Fishing Camp

Idle Time is located on Bayou Petite Calliou, only a few camps north of Tradwinds Marina. Get all your bait, fuel, and ice and be at the best fishing spots within minutes! This beautiful camp is 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and sleeps 10 comfortably. It has a covered dock with a fish cleaning station and has 3 boat slips, one with an electric lift. Other amenities include central air and heat, 2 decks, indoor laundry, surround sound, wifi, crab traps, and all the cookware / grills you'll need.

*** Please note that the roof on the boathouse is still missing from Hurricane Ida. The slips and dock are in good shape, and we are working to have the roof back up soon!

Great property. Half bath downstairs was very convenient. 3 br 2.5 bath very roomy. AC worked very well. Beds were comfortable. Great water view. Saw shrimp boats, porpoises, plenty birds, and a mink trying to steal our shrimp. Caught plenty of fish right off the dock. Will stay here again next October.

We had a great stay at this camp in Cocodrie! The location is perfect just minutes from Coco Marina and close to the best fishing spots. The camp was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. Plenty of space for the family, and the set-up made it easy to enjoy time together after a day on the water. Definitely a great spot for anyone looking to spend time in Cocodrie with family or friends. We’ll be back!

Wonderful Camp

We stayed here for 5 nights. Property was clean and as advertised. Gas BBQ and giant crab/shrimp pot outside to use. The crabbing off the dock was very good. We also caught trout, redfish, and giant black drum right off the dock. We were able to buy crabs, shrimp and oysters from the local fishermen at a great price! We very much enjoyed our stay!

It was very convenient. The beds need to be queens. It was good for a fishing trip. It would be nice to have some comfortable chairs in the top deck to set outside in the evenings or to watch the sunrise.

Cocodrie

Boat ramp almost right next to house. House very spacious. Lots of room to relax. Location very close to actual fishing. House very well equipped in kitchen and beds very comfortable. Did have an ant problem but that was not a show stopper

Lil get away

It was a nice place to stay love being next to the water. I’m not trying to be picky but I want you to know the big fan outside doesn’t work, the blow dryer doesn’t work & I know y’all pay someone to clean but the fans and vents are dirty and dusty including the furniture. But I would definitely go there again. I don’t know if you know but the freezer outside stinks and doesn’t freeze

Good location right on the water. Camp is in good shape and has a dock. The area is still pretty heavily storm damaged.

Beautiful get-away

A very cute place to stay. Orher then the occasional helicopter or boat its very quiet and peaceful. We put our boat in and it was nice to be able to just walk out to the doc and get in. Will definitely mark as a favorite and hopefully stay again.

Bayou Fun

It was a nice place to stay but could have been a little cleaner. However, for a camp it didn’t prevent everyone from having a great time. The owner got back with us quickly and was very nice. Fishing was great the first day. Enjoyed watching fireworks. Family had a great time.

Nice place, but not as advertised

This place was a nice fishing camp, but was very dirty upon arrival. There was laundry in the dryer snd dishes with food on them in the cabinets. Also, there is no cover over the boat dock/ pier area. Although, the location is trying to get back to normal after a hurricane, new pictures could have been added to the website. It felt like false advertisement.

Perfect Getaway Camp

This camp has everything you need for a relaxing fun filled time with your family and friends. Loved the swings under the camp! Fishing off the back deck at night, caught some trout! Boiled seafood! Has beautiful sunrise views! The open floor plan was awesome with the large island in the kitchen! We will surely rent this camp again!

Great Place for Groups

We had a group fishing trip planned out of Cocodrie Marina. The house was the perfect spot for everyone to stay. Plenty of beds, clean, good kitchen to fix meals, and super convenient to the Marina. Highly recommended.
