Enjoy a getaway at our modern, cozy a-frame cabin just minutes from Hanging Rock. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is located on a secluded ridge (beautiful views) in Danbury, NC.

Our cabin is only 3 miles from Hanging Rock State Park, voted by USA Today as one of the “20 Stunning State Parks Across the USA.” The Dan River (walking distance) is home to kayaking, tubing, fishing, and white-water; and Pilot Mountain State Park is just 20 miles away!

**Please note, the property is tucked away (1/2 mile off main road) and situated on top of a ridge. Four-wheel drive is not necessary under normal weather circumstances, but please be aware in case of inclement weather such as snow. If vehicle gets stuck under extreme circumstances, the host is not liable.

Just what we needed!

A clean and comfortable cabin. Living spaces and bedrooms with sufficient space. Fun activities in close proximity. The cabin is a hidden gem in the town of Danbury. We were a family of 6 and highly recommend this cabin.

Quiet hideaway

Quiet hideaway up a private drive. There were only two homes at the end of the drive and I rented both of them for family attending a wedding. The wedding venue was about an eight minute drive, so the cabin was a perfect location, and close to the hanging rock park as well. Highly recommend.

Relaxing long weekend get away

Excellent location to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax. Nightly fire pit with some good bourbon made for a great end to the day.

So nice!

My sun and his band played The Arts Place. I had gotten the place for them, but the other guys moved on. Me son and I stayed Sunday night, and he staued Monday nigjt. It was perfect size. Loved the layout and the large front windows. cabin for them

Wonderful!

Property was clean and well appointed. We prepared all our meals at the house - and we had everything we needed! Loved our location close to Hanging Rock State Park and took the kids swimming everyday. Also took the host recommendation to view the sunset at a local church. Spectacular sunset!

Great location to park

We had an excellent stay. Our goal was to explore the park and this was the perfect location. Not much going on in Danbury, so bring your own food. I do recommend the lunch place - River Rock Cafe - for sandwich and soup, great way to break up a day of hiking. The host was extremely responsive. House is very clean. We will be back.

Perfect Get-Away For Close Friends/Tribe

Me and my small group had the best get-away in Danbury. Spencer and Logan were THE BEST hosts! The house was VERY clean. They were prompt with their replies, the house had EVERYTHING and anything we needed. We set up a few tents outside, enjoyed a beautiful fire, grilled out.. we truly couldn't have asked for more. We've all agreed we'll be back :)

Beautiful home with awesome view

Very comfortable home with privacy and awesome views. Kids loved riding bikes and playing soccer in the driveway. One hour drive to Elon University. We will definitely be back for future visits!!

Great Cabin in an Interesting Area

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The cabin is on a hill and has great views of the surrounding area. It is also in a great location for hiking at Hanging Rock State Park, and for exploring the area. Danbury is like a time-capsule with lots of history and old buildings. The cabin is well equipped, check-in is easy, and the owners respond quickly if you have any questions.

Fabulous Spring Getaway

We had an amazing time. The cabin was adorable and very cozy. Location was fantastic for hiking Hanging Rock and the Lower Cascade Falls. We even did some zip lining. The fire pit was a favorite of the kids after a long day of hiking - we cooked dinner and s’mores. We’re already planning our next trip back! And the t-shirts were fantastic!

Family Getaway

This was our first time to Hanging Rock State Park and Pilot Mountain State Park. The cabin was a perfect place for us to enjoy both parks. Perfect size for our family of 4+friend. We want to come back in summer to enjoy the outdoor water activities in the area and plan to book this this place again.

Absolutely Gorgeous

We had a small weekend getaway. It was a perfect spot up back off the road away from town but still close. It was extremely clean and relaxing. Definitely on the favorite list to go back there. I highly recommend it
