Foot Hill Farms II Hanging Rock

Welcome to our cottage in the foot Hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Completely renovated, brand new everything, appliances, bathroom, beds etc. Enjoy the huge wrap around porch and 2 1/2 acres to relax and unwind.
The country is calling! 10 mins. from Hanging Rock State Park. We live just up the road if need anything. You can reach us by text or phone. lock box on door, we will send access code before check in day. Enjoy. Please note, we list the cabin price to be affordable for 2 people, all additional guests over 2, are charged at a 25/per person per night rate.This will calculate for you when you put in the total number of guests staying. Please notify us ahead of time with any questions.

Wonderful weekend stay

The home was perfect for our trip to Hanging Rock State Park. The owners paid every attention to detail and we had everything we needed. The Home was very clean and organized. Check in and out was a breeze and the owners were very accommodating. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Clean and well stocked house

The property was very clean and well stocked. If you’re looking for privacy this is a good place to stay. The kids could play in the yard without worrying about traffic. I appreciated the firewood being on hand because I can never seem to find firewood when we go on vacation. We would definitely consider staying here if we visit Hanging Rock again.

Excellent accommodations. Comfortable, clean, and fun! Pool table was an excellent addition!. Close to Hanging Rock with superb hiking and views. Highly recommend!

Mountain Sanctuary

This is a beautiful property. Immaculately clean, charming decor. Floor to ceiling hardwood, very private, so quiet, the metal roof and wrap around pourch made rainy days spectacular! And so many nooks, all complete with enough seating for four or more. Shelley, the host is kind and responsive and goes out of her way to make the stay special. A couple of notes if you decide to book. Shelley recommends slippers because she asks you leave your shoes at the door. I agree. the tiny gaps in those gorgeous hardwood floors are a little ouchy. Also flip-flops for the shower. Its spotless and beautiful but there is no anti-slip surface on the floor and no grip bar on the wall so it was a little precarious. This is a perfect spot. Go ahead and book.

First, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! We needed a place to stay to be able to celebrate one of my daughter’s HS graduation. Your house was as we expected and more. We loved spending time at the porch and by the firepit. The mornings were amazing listening to all the birds and forest sounds. Thanks for the touch of leaving us champagne and juice. Immaculate condition

Relaxing Weekend

We chose this area for how close it was to Hanging Rock. However, it rained very hard almost the whole time we were there. But the house was so comfortable that we really enjoyed just hanging out there. Very clean, with a lot of thoughtful details (spices, teas, coffee) and the sheets on the bed were so soft and amazing! The hosts were very easy to message and we always got a quick response. Would definitely go back!

Perfect

This was the perfect place for the Pilot Mountain to Hanging Rock race. Lots of outdoor sitting options to enjoy the fall weather. The inside was great, too
lots of time spent in the robes relaxing in the living room! Absolutely had everything we needed to relax and enjoy a beautiful long weekend
