Welcome to Mermaid Tales, part of a private beach-house grouping located on the Garden City Beach oceanfront in popular Murrell's Inlet. A truly versatile three level townhouse that offers all the serenity and convenience of a true beach house, this is the second townhouse from the beach, just a few steps from the sandy beach with an oversized two car garage, two large balconies overlooking the ocean, three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, a sunny kitchen with open and airy living and dining areas uniquely positioned to provide ocean views from every room! Watch the sunrise from the master bedroom king size bed or balcony. Take a break from the afternoon sun by enjoying a meal on the living room balcony.
The beach house is decorated with local art to give a cozy nautical beach feel.
Known as “Seafood Capital of South Carolina” where the dining, shopping, golfing and entertainment experience meets the highest standards, this unique community offers an amazing lifestyle.
Take a walk down the beach to the Garden City Beach Pier and local shops. There are several restaurants , beach shops, cafes, and local drinking establishments with live entertainment all with a small beach town vibe.
Within a short drive, enjoy the fresh food at the Marsh Walk with many great restaurants and entertainment. Jet ski rentals, sunset cruises, fishing charters, kayaking, surfing, or paddle boarding are all there.

This is the BEST beach house we have ever rented!!! The beach decorations were so Beachy! The beds slept awesome! Everything worked except the small TV in the bunk bed room but the host tried to help walk us thru the process to get it working! We got to park our cars in a garage with doors! When you walk out of the garage you take a few steps and you are walking in sand right at the beach! So nice to be on the beach and when you need to go to the bathroom just walk a few feet to your beach house and to grab a sandwich drinks or snacks! The view from the balconies were awesome too! Also hand soap , paper towels. Toilet paper , cleaning supplies were provided! The weather did not cooperate for us during our stay but we all still had a wonderful time! I highly recommend the beach rental!

Everything about our stay was perfect. Pet friendly, love the balconies, and perfect view of the beach. Location couldn’t be any better. Waking distant to the pier. Overall the house is beautiful.

This beach townhouse is amazing. It is right on the beach and the views from the balconies are perfect. It had everything we needed and just felt like home. Communication with the owner was great, he is very fast to respond and very nice to speak with. We will definitely be coming back soon and would recommend it to everyone.

Such a lovely townhome! Very clean, walk right to the beach! Balconies from living room and master bedroom upstairs have great view of ocean. Garage space for both cars and plenty of room for the golf cart rentals too. Love the location so close to the pier to walk and get some drinks and watch the ocean. Close to our favorite restaurants in Murrell’s Inlet (very short car ride) and golf cart rides to everywhere else. Love this place and highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.

Very pleased with our stay from the start until the end! Warren was wonderful with communicating! Location was convenient to restaurants, grocery store, & beach stores. Walking distant to the pier, that we enjoyed every night! The house was clean & the balcony’s were perfect for morning & night sitting! Awesome to be able to walk out the door & be on the beach! Definitely would stay here again!

Everything was wonderful. Condo is beautiful and steps to the beach. The only problem was street noise-mostly from motorcycles. People also kept parking in front of condo garage
they were asked to move so we could get out.

Third time

This was the third time we stayed in this condo. It was a very unusual year with colder than normal temps. But the owner was very responsive when we contacted him regarding the heating unit not being able to keep up. As we understand it, heating pumps are not built to heat as well as a furnace under these unusual circumstnces. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.

Great Location

The townhouse was clean, comfortable, and spacious for our group (two couples plus 1 adult). The location was great - just steps away from the beach and wonderful views of the sunrise. The beds are very firm. We slept fine though. I just wish it was softer. Also there’s not many beach chairs available - bring a couple of your own. Owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. Id stay here again for sure.

Great vacation condo

We really enjoyed our stay in your unit. It was very clean and comfortable, easy to get to, location was awesome, and the garage was a great benefit. The views from the balconies were tremendous. Highly recommend booking a vacation here!

Beach vacation

The house was clean. The few short steps to the beach made it very easy with small children to take breaks if needed. Close to many restaurants with water view. The balcony views were beautiful.

Great home, location and pet friendly

Perfect location for walking out the door and being on beach. House very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Owner very responsive as we needed help with one of tvs, minor adjustment made quickly. Would highly recommend and hope to be back next year. Was able to bring our fur baby so it made our vacation complete. Thank you for opening your vacation home to us.
