The house was very clean and well maintained, the kitchen lacked a trash can
 at least we could not find it if there was one. The bedroom design was very unique and the sound traveled through the entire house, so if you are staying with someone else, I suggest you know them well!

Real gem

This property was fantastic. Perfect setting with surrounding woods but close to the city. The property provided a relaxing weekend in a beautiful setting. Will absolutely stay here again.

great location

Very clean house in a quiet neighborhood, easy drive to Traverse City. It is an older home so it does show some wear and tear but most importantly to us, it was very clean and comfortable.

Great location and Setting

Our family of six ranging from 11 to 67 years old really enjoyed this private, updated cabin in the woods. Great location just minutes away from fishing, beach, shopping, and restaurants. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the cabin was clean and well appointed. We made several of our meals there. The deck and fire pit area were perfect for hanging out and enjoying the outdoors.

Fantastic Property!

My husband and I did a weekend getaway with friends and we loved this place. It was easy to get to, it’s right next door to zipline/ski/sledding fun, quick drive to meijer, close to the wineries. But private and quiet. Deer came to visit us in the morning, we had bonfires at night, TC fun during the day. Will definitely stay here again.

Private and convenient!

Nice private house and drive. Great space for a small group with a private outside area. Perfect distance from downtown and old mission peninsula. Owner was very responsive and communicated every step of the way. Conveniently short walk to local bar/restaurant. Would definitely book again!

M-F Work stay.

Very nice house. Beautiful property and location. Garage is available to use.Loved sitting on the deck in the morning. Had one fire in the fire pit. Very quiet, away from traffic.

Cute but a little shabby

The space is super cute, but there are obvious things that need repair. Such as: baseboards that were not attached to the wall (laying on the floor instead), toilet paper holder that was hardly attached to the wall, smell of mildew near the kitchen sink. The mattresses are comfortable, but the pillows are weird. I don’t think people like down pillows as much as you think they do. Also, it was really hard to lather the soap bars. Didn’t feel like my hands got that clean. The communication was pretty excessive, too. The layout is very hard to discern. There is a micro bedroom with a full-size bed on the main floor right off of the living room with a door that doesn’t shut well and wobbles and makes a lot of noise if you’re sleeping in there. Then upstairs there are two rooms that are basically one room and one of them has a daybed and the other one has a king bed. So if you’re expecting privacy, you’re not going to get it. The bar across the road had a loud party one of the nights too.Location is GREAT otherwise.

Cute, Clean, & Quaint

We definitely enjoyed this property and appreciated it's location with close proximity to East Bay. Very clean and neat! We were in Traverse City for some wine tasting with another couple, and I definitely think you want to be very comfortable with the people you share this property with, as there's not a ton of privacy in terms of noise! For us this was not a negative, but it's worth noting!

Great Location, Great Style

This property makes the most of its space - it seems much larger (thanks to its layout) than the square footage suggests. The thoughtful design make it enjoyable (no dated furniture or design details here). The property is directly across the street from a small ski area which provides a nice and easy opportunity to hike as well. We stayed here with my elderly parents and everyone gave it rave reviews.
