This spacious 1-bedroom guest house is nestled in a safe family neighborhood of central Mesa and offers over 900 sq. feet of elbow room. The cozy queen-bed has a new pillow-top mattress, and luxury linens. There is enough closet / drawer space to accommodate your entire wardrobe and shoe-collection! The sectional sofa in the living room comes with a pull-out full-size bed and additional mattress topper. The nearby freeway system offers easy access to anywhere you need to go. Walk to parks, grocery, pharmacy, bike or hike nearby trails. Comes with a smart TV along with internet, wi-fi access. The full kitchen is equipped with all you need for quick meals or large dinners. The bath has a large shower, with a private entry from the bedroom. The open floor plan promotes comfortable interaction with guests. There is another private bedroom with a queen bed available along with a private bathroom for an extra fee. Easy parking with a private combination entrance, and security screen doors. The fenced back yard comes with lots of patio space on a secluded lot, with a propane grill, patio furniture, and private pool. The pool is heated for year-round swimming! There is also extra RV parking available. Sorry but no cats allowed.

Indeed A Perfect Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! John and Roberta were wonderful hosts. Their cottage was very clean and so very comfortable and quiet; it felt like home away from home. And the private patio on the west side was a bonus: we got to enjoy a few rays of the setting sun in winter. We would definitely stay here again.

Jon and Roberta were excellent hosts. It was such a clean and fully stocked home to stay. Even snacks were supplied. They are open for suggestions to make it a great stay and even took one the day we arrived. Will definitely visit again!

Family wedding

This was a nice Quiet and private property, very clean and had everything we needed plus snacks and coffee. Decorated beautifully and was very cozy. Pool water was so warm, loves floating in the pool! Definitely would stay again!

This cottage is a complete home and located in a lovely residential neighborhood with close driving access to stores and restaurants. Pantry and kitchen are well stocked with anything you might need during your stay. John and Roberta are a wonderful couple and perfect hosts!

This property was even better than the listing. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and I wasn't able to use the pool. Everything is clean and well cared for. The kitchen was well stocked and the bed was comfy!

Paradise in Mesa

This rental was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The casita was tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We really appreciated the fenced in backyard for our dog, the private outdoor area and the ability to enjoy the full patio if we chose. The location was easy to get to major routes to travel around the Valley. The hosts were very nice and accommodating.

Perfect Getaway

From the moment we arrived John was there to greet us and met his wife Roberta soon after. They were very friendly and kind to us. Made sure we had all we needed.The property was very nice, clean and in a safe area and accessible to many things. Anytime we reached out to John to ask anything he was available with an answer right away. We so enjoyed our time there and feel confident in recommending their property.

Relaxation

Clean, welcoming, relaxing. Host was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. John and his wife and family were welcoming and made us feel at home. The pool was shared with his family/friends, but we were able to have some private time as well. Do not think twice about staying here! It is a perfect getaway!

Spring Break

I absolutely enjoyed our stay here. We slept 5 comfortably, the pool was amazing. Everything was within 20 minutes it seemed like. I felt very safe, the area was a nice neighborhood. John was attentive and easy to find if I needed him. He waited up for us to get there as we were coming from Michigan so we were pretty late getting there. Would definitely stay again.

Family Vacay and Graduation

The “Perfect Getaway” is FANTASTIC. It was a great location with so many amazing Arizona things to do and see in close proximity. John, Roberta and family are the hosts you dream of getting! We traveled for graduation and an extended vacation, had everything we needed and more. Our kids swam everyday and loved the other activities in the area. We hope to be back soon, and are so happy to have been blessed with an amazing vacation for our family anyone looking to stay in/near Mesa/Gilbert/Phoenix should definitely consider the Casita!

Great Night’s Rest!

I had a very enjoyable stay. The suite had every necessary amenity and the hosts were prompt, accessible and welcoming. They were even able to accommodate an unexpected change in my travel departure due to airline issues. My favorite features, by far, were the pillow top mattress, the high-end linens, and the new plush carpet in the bedroom. I never sleep well when I travel, but this place gave me exceptional sleep night after night. Cozy, super quiet, and so peaceful! The driveway was a little tricky to get out of, and the pool wasn’t as heated as I’d hoped (a chilly 70-ish, which may be fine for some but I run cold!) but overall, I appreciated my time here and the kindness of the hosts.

Great Host and location.

We recently stayed here and enjoyed our interactions with the owners - they were incredibly nice and very welcoming! The property was also very comfortable and is conveniently located near stores and restaurants along with easy access to the highways for the destinations a little further away.

Extending hospitality is something that Roberta and I have always enjoyed. We recently celebrated our marriage for the 40th time. During these years we have rented out rooms and welcomed overnight guests on a regular basis. We have enjoyed having people stay in our home. We love Jesus because He first loved us, which is an amazing story we love to share. His influence in our lives motivates us to pursue honesty and integrity, along with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, etc. We love meeting people but avoid being intrusive so they can enjoy their privacy. We live on a large lot, with a back yard that is secluded from all neighbors. Our guest house was built for my aging mom with lots of TLC. She has since moved into her permanent mansion. The house offers privacy and quiet solitude, suitable for short or extended trips. We hope you will enjoy your stay.

Front porch provides your own private entry, with extra lighting and a security door for your protection and ease of entry. A private west-facing patio provides total seclusion and privacy. A full kitchen overlooks the dining, living room area, along with 9' ceilings, contribute to that open feeling allowing you to stretch out and relax. Plenty of outlets and work-station room at the counter or table. This full kitchen comes equipped with enough pots, pans, and tableware to feed an entire family! Kurig coffee and drip coffee maker are ready to go. You can stock up for days with the full size fridge and freezer! The cozy queen bed with quality linens and pillows with give you a great night's rest. The thick drapes with window blinds and extra insulation can make the room as dark and quiet as you want. The full-size washer and dryer includes all the needed detergent and softener. Last minute ironing before the big interview includes the iron with the board. Designated 5GHz wifi can easily handle a couple of computers and a smart TV. The newly remodeled pool and backyard is like a resort!
