Cozy lake front getaway set on a half acre lot, start your day with a cup of coffee while overlooking 450 acre all sports Palmer lake. Enjoy a swim with your guests in the sandy bottom swimming area or take the paddle boards or kayak for a ride down the shore line. Finish your day sharing stories around the picnic table or campfire. If you prefer to be indoors, the open concept living area will accommodate your group nicely.

We had a wonderful stay. The home is directly on the water and was very well kept. We loved the incredible view from the deck and windows. Such a beautiful property.

We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The house is well stocked with anything you could need. The addition of the porch is wonderful! It’s the perfect place to watch the sun rise and set and have coffee in the morning. The tree provides the perfect shade on a sunny day and the lake is beautiful. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of seating for a large family. We caught some decent size largemouth bass and enjoyed fishing. We had a wonderful stay and Craig is very communicative. Check in/out was easy. We will definitely be back next year!!

We could not have been happier with our stay at the Cozy Lakefront Getaway! The home is clean, comfortable, and well-stocked! The new deck overlooking beautiful Palmer Lake is the perfect spot for morning coffee, and an evening glass of wine! Check-in and check-out were seamless and Craig was a pleasure to work with! Beautiful place to stay! We keep coming back! Inside is spacious, clean, beds are comfortable and has everything you need! Has a beautiful deck that we used in the morning to sit and drink coffee and enjoy the lake and at night we just enjoyed watching everyone on the lake and then the sunset. Craig has lights strung so you can stay out longer into the evening! Great dock to swim off! Craig is wonderful to work with!

Great Lake Vacation!

This is our second summer at this property and we were not disappointed. The deck is a new addition and nice gathering space for games, eating, etc. Swimming off the dock is great and the large yard gives space to play out of the water. Highly recommend.

Beautiful water front

Perfect cottage right on the water. Great little village grocery store just a few minutes away. We always love being in Amish country. The front deck addition is awesome!

Great Lake Vacation

Our family had a great time on Palmer Lake. Swimming off the dock is excellent and there is lots of room to play in the front yard. The house was clean and well-stocked. Owner was very helpful with the few questions we had. Highly recommend!

Hidden Gem

House was great! Very clean, didn’t smell like a lake house! Very spacious, comfortable bed, everything you could need is available! Neighbors are very nice, yard is huge, flat and so green! We are already working on planning our return! Craig is GREAT!

Great as always

Well maintained lake home that our family of 4 and our dog have now stayed at three times. Listing as described and it’s a convenient and reasonable ride from Chicago. Kids enjoyed the magic capital of the world (including a show), local ambiance, fishing, bonfires, and jumping in the lake. Hope to visit again!

Beautiful lake house on the water

Beautifully kept cottage (updated) right on the water. Close to Coldwater and Sturgis. Perfect for boating, fishing, and swimming. Craig is awesome to work with! This was our 2nd time staying. Nice big yard with fire pit! The whole family had a blast!

Perfect Getaway

We were looking for someplace quiet, peaceful but with some lake fun! This place checked all the boxes. We had a fantastic time, swimming, enjoying the large yard, fishing, etc. The house was clean, kitchen was stocked with appliances, pots and pans better than anything we have ever stayed at! Our kids loved it and already have asked when we can go back!

Love Lake Life!

I never write reviews!

We stay at a lakefront home every summer and this might be our favorite so far! Craig was very accommodating from the get-go. We were so thrilled to be able to bring our therapy dog (in training). That was a first for our family, and the kids loved not having to leave him behind. The dock was perfect, the yard was spacious, and the rope swing was a huge hit! The cupboards were stocked, which is also rare in my experience. Who wants to bring olive oil/salt/garlic powder on vacation?! Craig had it covered. The beds were so comfortable and clean. Shower was stocked with shampoo, conditioner , and body wash. Neighbors were friendly as well. 10/10 stay. We’ll be back!

Second time staying

We enjoyed our stay last year so much, we came again. Got to enjoy the water - swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. Went to the parks in town, magic show/shop, and some of the local restaurants. Home is in great condition with a lovely lot and view, and Craig was super responsive. Thanks for having us again!

My family and I had a wonderful week at this cottage. Right on the water. Cottage was very clean and updated with plenty of sleeping space and views. Craig was great to work with! Highly recommend!

The house and property was amazing! Great host, so clean, and had everything you needed to make your stay great! The view was gorgeous and nothing like walking out to the lake and taking in the scenery! We fished right off the dock and had a blast🐠 Can’t wait to go back again!
