Our cottage offers all brand new smart appliances and carefully curated furnishings and decorations. You'll appreciate the antique fixtures and custom walnut woodwork that accentuate our modern take on lake living. Want to just relax and enjoy the outdoors? Our spacious deck offers more than enough space for any activity. The nearby marina offers power watercraft for rent and is steps away from your front door. One door down is the community pier where you can dock your boat for the day. Or simply walk from the creek to the lake (a mere 100 ft) for a swim or kayak which we have 2 available for you to use. Looking to cook a delicious meal? Our kitchen offers all brand new Samsung, Whirlpool, and Bosch appliances. Upstairs you can relax in our flex room and enjoy streaming live entertainment directly from your preferred account or direct from your smart device. Simply connect to our hi-speed wifi and share to our smart TV. Looking to cool off from the summer heat? Our deluxe heating and cooling units are individually controlled in each room, enabling you to reach optimal comfort. Beautiful Cottage on Lake

The house was beautifully decorated and was perfect for a long weekend getaway with friends! Even with the off season weather, the lake was still gorgeous. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great getaway

We stayed at this property while we were in town for an event. Beautiful little home on the water with a nice view of the lake. Recommend taking the kayaks out to explore the lake. Very relaxing place.

Amazing lake house

We really enjoyed our stay at this lake home. Super clean, host was very timely in response, the property location is perfect with easy access from the canal to the lake. A bonus was getting to use the kayaks provided as well. Thank you, Jonathon. Your home is lovely.

Fantastic cottage

Super clean and well-decorated with luxe amenities from high end candles to multi jet shower. Huge, well stocked kitchen. Air conditioners kept us comfy in every room even with the hot summer weather outside. Excellent experience and we would love to stay here again!

Lovely Klinger Lake

This was my second vacation at this Klinger Lake VRBO. Last October was a girlfriends' weekend and this time my out of state sister joined my parents and me for a lake getaway and to visit the nearby Amish community of Shipshewana. The house is beautifully and tastefully furnished. The view of the creek, lake, and swans from the back deck is the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. I just might book the house for a third vacation for just me and my husband (oh, and his boat).

Girls' Weekend at Klinger Lake

The house on Klinger Lake was the perfect choice for our girls' weekend getaway. It's furnished beautifully and the kitchen is magazine worthy. Two full bathrooms, one down and one up, are a plus. The back deck is THE place to relax while watching swans swim by on the lake (yes, there were two swans while we were there!). Klinger Lake is close to Shipshewana, Indiana (and other quaint towns) via winding country roads. Can't recommend this rental enough.

Great weekend getaway

We were lucky to be the first guest at this property. It was very nice and had everything you could want for a weekend stay. The back deck was very large and had a few different seating areas. Each room had an individual air/heat control which was excellent as some of us like it cooler for sleeping. Both bathrooms have 2 entrances which took some getting used to and coordination so you didn’t walk in on someone lol. The lake was beautiful, had a sandy bottom and shallow enough to play frisbee on a hot day or just float around in a tube. Jonathan was super nice & kept in contact throughout the whole process and even asked afterwards how our stay was. Debbie the property manager was super nice and gave recommendations for the area as we were not local to that area. Would definitely recommend this place and will rent from them again in the future.

Hello, we are Jonathan and Mary. We currently live in California, but are originally from the midwest. Jonathan grew up spending his summers at Klinger Lake and in and around most of Michiana. His love for the area and fond childhood memories are what brought us back to Klinger Lake...it has a tendency to do that :)

We love our cottage and think you will too! You'll find that because we want to make it a permanent residence in the future, we went the extra mile to ensure it has all the modern conveniences and furnishings that you'll appreciate. Plus we love that we are slightly tucked away in the inlet, but a stones throw from the lake front. It offers both accessibility and privacy. Our cottage also gets a lot of natural light. We love how it lights up in the mornings as the sky lights offer a chance for natural light to brighten the interior. Also we spent a lot of time making sure the furnishing were not only comfortable but fit with the aesthetic of the cottage. You'll appreciate the furniture carefully curated from surrounding local designers and makers.
