A frame cabin with beautiful views and private dock

Enjoyed the two large decks, the new outdoor furniture, and waterfront dock. The house had everything you need for a relaxing stay. 15 minute drive to Naples NY which has a grocery store and quite a few restaurants.

Fantastic Lakeside Cabin

This cabin was in a great location, lakeside and down a quiet residential street. Our family enjoyed the included amenities like the private dock, canoe, and kayaks. We were able to do some good fishing while we were here! This house also included life jackets which was a plus for us, since we didn’t own any. The smart TV in the living room was nice for the kids to be able to turn on Netflix and Disney+ in our downtime. The cabin was clean and well kept. The big windows in the living room let in lots of natural light. This is a great cabin to stay in!

Nice house but beware

If you are not in shape or elderly do not rent. Entered home with signs all over everything of what not to do and no warning how dangerous it would be to get to the dock that we wanted to leave our boat on but we were not able to as advised due to “ lack of material”. Main reason I rented the place. The towns are beautiful and worth checking out.

Thank you for your stay and review. The owner has placed signs around the property to make it easier for tenants to use and enjoy the property. I found these very helpful when I used VRBO houses instead of review an entire manual an owner left for me. I'm on vacation and I don't really want to review a manual, I like to look up and see a sign with how to use something. The dock cannot withstand the weight of the boat and that was told to all renters. A boat mooring has been order from Marine Blue, they told us it would be installed before the season started, however each time we call the materials are back ordered and not in stock. That was really out of our control. As for the walk to the beach, we do have pictures posted outlining there is a walk to the beach area. We do share that with all guests and it is on VRBO and AirBnB. We have 100% transparency with the property, the drive down and the walk to the beach. In my opinion that is part of the charm of the place is the privacy and ADK feel. It really is a special place, tucked in the woods with beautiful waterfront on Canandaigua Lake. We should have the mooring materials for next year and AC installed per the owner. We will keep everyone posted.

Teachers getaway

We had an AMAZING time staying here on our long weekend! The location is BEAUTIFUL, the view was incredible. The home itself is clean and pretty. Make sure to read the post to fully understand what you’re getting (we did!) but it’s one bedroom and then a loft with beds and beds in the downstairs area. The beds were a bit wobbly, but other than that, we loved the house. The deck and the dock have great views. It is a steep walk back up from the dock (which was advertised so we expected it) but totally worth going down to enjoy the view, just bring what you need down with you to avoid going back up a lot :)! We would definitely stay again!

Another amazing lake weekend!

This is the second time our family has stayed at this gorgeous lake house. It is private, beautiful, nicely appointed, and spacious. We have a large family, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The lake access requires many stairs, but is worth it! The shale beach area is great for launching canoes or kayaks, or swimming. Many sunfish were caught right off the dock. We brought our own fishing gear, life jackets, and kayaks; although there were two kayaks and a canoe there. We used the grill to cook dinner every night and enjoyed the beautiful views from the decks. Cannot say enough about our wonderful stay. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful lakehouse!

Beautifully relaxing

We had a lovely stay at this property. The views were as stunning as advertised, and the secluded nature of the property made it a perfect get-away-from-it-all vacation. Everything was as advertised and we were pleased with our stay. The home had everything we needed, and we were able to comfortably eat-in (as well as enjoy a meal out in Naples). We kayaked twice and had all the equipment needed. There is ample comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy time either down on the dock or up on the deck. We enjoyed everything about our stay! Just to reiterate two items that are clearly noted in the property description: (1) It is 110 steps down to the dock (we counted). We personally loved the extra exercise! - but if steps are a problem for you, it will be difficult to make it down to the dock. (2) It was important that we had 4WD in order to park nearest the house. One of our party did not have 4WD and wisely parked up above. Again - these items are clearly noted in the property description! - but they are helpful to know. It was great to work with the property manager (and we appreciate the goodies left for our arrival :-) We'd gladly stay here again!
