We had a top notch experience in this part of the lake. Very private property with large decks, dock and room for jet skis and a beach area. Very unique space and calmer water than other parts of the lake. It has shallow water which is really amazing for kids. The town of Canandaigua is further out, so no deliveries that I could find, but very quiet part of the lake, so it very nice riding around the water on the jets skis. Although Wegmans did deliver to us with door dash. Animals are also not use to people, so they will be out in the middle of the road at night in the darkness which I thought was very cool. We saw many deer, small fox, a frog, lake otters. The host was really amazing as he just likes people and the home is nicely decorated with unique items. It has a charm as you try to figure out where all the unique items came from. The fire place inside was great and the one on the deck amazing. We made a fire by the water at night which is a must do and they have it all set up. You will see many stars. Sitting on the deck during the day you appreciate all the areas they set up to watch the lake. Very comfortable seating and impressive views that I would say are award winning. It should be noted that the second floor and main floor do not connect with out walking out on the outside decks. One of the best places on the lake in our opinion.

Beautiful house on a beautiful lake. Plenty of room for our family of 10. A well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, games, indoor and outdoor seating, views from every room. Gene could not have been a better host. Good, prompt communication He is justifiably house proud and it shows in the attention to detail in this lovely property

We rented three houses on the Lake for a family reunion, and Lakeside Retreat" was the best. Beautiful home with great views and amenities.

Family Lake Vacay

Our blended family with 7 teens/young adults had a great stay! There was space for all of us, and being right on the lake was a joy. Gene was a great host, and even came by during our stay to tend to a maintenance need.Fully recommend staying here!

Brush family get together

This was rented for our kids and grandkids. There were a couple of things that you might want to check out for future guests. The air conditioning upstairs didn’t cool down enough and in the master bedroom upstairs could hear what sounded like mice or something scratching in the walls. Not complaining because they thoroughly enjoyed their stay and all amenities were great!

Great Lake Home

Our family vacation at the lake house was fantastic. Nestled amidst picturesque scenery, the charming home provided a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. From sunrise to sunset, we spent our time outdoors, kayaking along the serene waters of the lake, fishing on the docks and enjoying meals on the decks overlooking the lake. Evenings were spent gathered around the fire pit, sharing stories and toasting marshmallows. The interiors were nice and offered spacious rooms and beautiful views from every window. Our family would definitely recommend and stay again.

Girls weekend

We had the best time at this beautiful home! It was extremely clean, the check in process was clear and easy. We spent a lot of time lounging at the lake on the beautiful dock. There was plenty of space and we would definitely rebook if we went back!

Premier property needs some updating

This is a beautiful home with stunning outdoor views! Just a few things, in my opinion, need to be done to make it more premier though. The mattress in the master needs to be replaced as it was not comfortable whatsoever. If you like firm beds, then the second upstairs room is a fit for you. We had family and friends stay and while the kitchen has plenty of dishes and all the things to cook, we had no place to put our food and things and had to keep them on the counter which made it super cluttered, especially when you can have up to 14 people. It’s mostly comfortable inside but on a rainy day that we had, the vintage furniture isn’t cozy to lounge on. The outside is lovely and ample space and not hospitable at night with the amount of bugs and would suggest they get it sprayed. The 2nd lower level is great and yet, the tv didn’t work and would suggest having one in both rooms. Plus, if you are having different family members/friends stay down there, keep in mind that you have to share a bathroom. Having a kitchen in one of the rooms is a nice bonus and just needs a garbage can. Also, could use some rugs by the doors down there to keep dirt from being tracked in. All in all, we had a nice time and I also feel it could use some TLC.
