Lake living at its best! Incredible views of lake and mountains. You will have the complete walkout lower level of this brand new home—1795 sq ft all to yourself. It has 2 bedrooms-1 w/King (Sleep Number)and 1 w/2 Queens, large jack and jill bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, pool table, 65" Smart TV and laundry room. Separate driveway, parking and entrance. Enjoy the large covered patio with gas grill, dining area, Solo Stove and corn hole. Just sit on the swing, sip your wine and watch the gorgeous sunsets. We support Tunnels to Towers when you stay with us.

Our host was awesome. We had a wonderful stay and we wished we coule stay longer. Our family enjoyed all the thoughtful amenities. Will definitely try to go back next time.

The lake view is wonderful. The host and husband are wonderful. The area is wonderful. The weather was wonderful. The unit is wonderful. What more could someone want!

This place has fabulous views! The hosts are so helpful and gave us great suggestions for resturants and sites to see. The place was clean, comfortable and well equipped. A fabulous place!

Amazing property!!

We have rented from people all over and Susie was such an astounding hostess! The property was quite possibly the loveliest I've ever stayed in--everything is just as pictured. We most certainly will be back!!!!

Picturesque stay with wonderful hosts

We spent a few days at Susie's place, and it was so relaxing! It has amazing views, is old-school cozy with a touch of modern, and is super clean and spacious. Susie was so great to offer suggestions of places to eat and visit. We will be back to visit!

What a wonderful week. The property is gorgeous. Incredibly clean. The view is spectacular, the owners are amazing and the bed - wow! Even better than the description if that’s even possible. Stay here! U won’t regret it

Amazing Stay With a Phenomenal View

Absolutely one of the best places that we've ever stayed at! There is nothing more that you could ask for! Stunning view of Lake Chatuge where you can sit on the deck all day and gaze out across the lake to the mountains. Start the day with a cool breeze at sunrise and then end it with breathtaking sunsets and colorful evening skies. The home is wonderful, beautifully furnished and has everything you could possibly need. The hosts are so friendly and personable, and make sure that you have everything you need. We can't to go back and stay longer!!

Awesome Getaway

We had such a lovely stay at this property. The unit is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. Susie was a wonderful, kind, and thoughtful hostess. We stayed over New Years and she left homemade cookies for the kids and a bottle of champagne for the adults. This was one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in and we hope to visit again soon.

Just phenomenal!

Words cannot describe this basement cottage , the hospitality of the owners or the stunning views of the lake and mountains . If you are considering a stay at lake chatuge, book this property ( just don’t book it when we want to go ! Ha!) The cottage was spotless, extremely well appointed but did I mention the views ?! The owners couldn’t be any nicer or welcoming. I was blessed by meeting my new friends , Susie and Rich . Just book it !!

Nicely appointed

The space was modern and clean. Supplied all of the extras including toiletries, cleaning supplies, and basics like some spices and ziplocks. I was a bit concerned since it is the bottom floor of a 2 story property that we would not feel like we had our privacy but not the case. The property manager was the owner and she and her husband inquired to make sure we had everything we needed without imposing

Exceptional, Beautiful, and Charming

A magical week with a true chance to experience peace and serenity. The best of viewing both the mountains and Lake Chatuge. The cottage was beautifully furnished with every conveniences one might need. Thank you Susie! The best location within fifteen to thirty minutes to many towns and attractions. Our host Susie and Rich where such a lovely couple. They made sure that we were comfortable and if we needed them ,they were always available to us. We will return next year, but for 2 weeks. One was just not enough.

Home Away from Home (with a view!)

What a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. My husband and I have been renting in the Blue Ridge / Chatuge area for 20 years. In all that time, we've never stayed in a rental as well-appointed as this one, and I'm not just talking about the furnishings, which were exactly my taste. The homeowner had so many thoughtful provisions (firewood for the fire pit, cotton balls and que tips in the bathroom, high quality toilet paper :). tea and coffee, shower bath gel and shampoo, ample towels AND beach towels, quality linens and comfortable beds, and my personal favorite... a drawer full of spare reading glasses!). The pool table provided hours of fun. We had wonderful time and it was just the relaxing getaway we needed with a spectacular view of our favorite lake in the world.
