It was a pleasure hosting Amelia at Shalimar. She has an easy going personality, communicates well and complied with our house rules. We are proud to have given her an enjoyable experience and look forward to hosting her again

Dear Marlene, It is with much regret we have read your review. You are in the Caribbean to enjoy the weather and the ambience. We intentionally did not Air condition the Living Room so that you will enjoy the patio and the sea breeze. The Caribbean is about outdoor living. Same applies to Television. There are sights and sounds to be experienced in St. Kitts. We have hard water in St. Kitts and as a result we get these stains on shower glass. We just did install a water softener, but it is not working, and the American supplier will not stand behind the product. We have now ordered another one. The buildings are built with Concrete solid walls, and we do have problems getting Wi-Fi in the bedroom. We did allude to this in our welcome message to you. We are in the process of rectifying this as we write this note. Once again, we purposely built the pool with 54-inch depth so any adult could stand up in the pool. As you will notice from the website, we do not accept children under the age of twelve. It is a requirement that when we do have children of that age, the parents must supervise the child when in the pool area. This message is conveyed to all parents. Hence there was no need to place any depth markings. We do not think that a pool depth of fifty-four inches poses any danger. Finally, we are extremely sorry that we did not make your visit to Shalimar exceptional. From the time we opened at the end of COVID we have strived for excellence. The result shows that 98% of the ratings we have received are all five stars. But that by means says that we cannot do better. Your criticism is well taken, and we will aspire to do better.
