The house was clean and we loved the fact that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The location is great -- very near the beach. We were a bit disappointed at the limited number of pots, pans, knives, etc., but we made it work. The only other thing to be aware of is the noise from the highway in the master bedroom, particularly in the early morning. Earplugs were helpful.

A very nice modern home close to the beach but also too close to Rt 158 and therefore very noisy at night. Otherwise a very spacious and clean home for a nice family vacation.

Our house was sandwiched between two houses having a family reunion. They were up all night on a karaoke machine. It was definitely difficult for our two children under 4, they were unable to sleep every night due to the relentless screaming.

The house was beautiful, clean, had very nice amenities, and was a short walk to the beach. We would have appreciated more towels per bedroom than the two provided for a six day stay.

Constructive criticism

Overall house was good and it had plenty of room. We loved the covered decks, pool, closeness to beach. Poorest quality tp we have ever seen, and very stingy packet to start. Knives dull, 4 wire whisks but only one spatula! Chest of drawers in bunk room not attached to wall and it fell over nearly crushing a 3 year old. Unsafe! We are used to a little better amenities. Not wild about staying in place that is just by developers, not someone’s second home.

Bring Your Own Stuff

While the place was very nice, you could see it has been used ALOT with little upkeep after the fact. Only two of the pool cues were usable and no chalk could be found throughout the house. The “starter pack” only included two rolls of the worst toilet paper humanly possibly, one roll of paper towels and one pod for dishwasher. Keep in mind there are 5-6 bathrooms in the house and they give you two rolls and none were left from previous renters and no little bars of hand soap to wash hands not dishwashing liquid. No beach towels, no towels for floor outside of shower/tubs. We had only 4-6 hangers in each closet at most. There were some boogie boards outside of the house just laying on the ground when we arrived, which we had to secure because of the tropical storm. Ceiling fans and ventilation wall coverings were covered with dirt/dust and carpeting was very worn. It probably was an immaculate home at one time but owners are not taking care of it after renters use. Location to the beach was ideal, parking sufficient and the top floor bed was comfortable, just wish they put a little more into the property. Pool was nice, hot tub usable but the cover is flaking badly and lots of it are in the water. Overall it did want we needed but was expecting more I guess.

The items you reported are certainly not our standard here at Seaside Vacations and we sincerely apologize. We would have been happy to send someone over to take care of the cleaning items that were missed, bring extra hangers and bath mats but we were not made aware of any dissatisfaction while you were here. An email is sent to all of our guests prior to their arrival to make them aware of items we provide and items we suggest our guests bring like paper products, soaps, toiletries, beach towels, etc. We will make sure your provided feedback about these items is directed to our management department. We are happy to hear that you and your party had a great vacation at this home and we would love to be able to host you again!
