The house was exactly as described and portrayed in pictures. Wonderful house for our family (3 small children), as the beach access was adjacent to the home. Plenty of space for our group and then some. Kitchen well stocked, outdoor shower and space perfect for rinse after the beach for kids (and adults), and toys / games in the basement were a hit. Getting around Kill Devil Hills and the Outer Banks is easiest by car. Located along NC-12 (North Virginia Dare Trail), our home offers quick access to the main road, making it easy to explore nearby towns like Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, and Duck.

Most beaches, restaurants, shops, and attractions are just a short drive away, so having a vehicle allows you to make the most of your stay and explore at your own pace.

Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are limited in the Outer Banks, especially during off-peak times, so we recommend having your own transportation for convenience.

For those traveling from out of town, the closest major airport is in Norfolk, VA, approximately a 2-hour drive from Kill Devil Hills.
