Jolie maison spacieuse de 6 chambres dans la vallée de la rivière St. Croix

"Maple House" has plenty of comfortable upscale space for gatherings and also for quiet time away from the group. We offer 1 large bedroom with a queen bed on the main level which has it's own bathroom, a 2nd main floor bedroom with a queen + twin, and 4 upstairs bedrooms: three with queen beds and one with 2 twin beds. Other sleeping options include a large sectional couch, an outdoor style couch that would sleep one person (except winter) on the 3-season porch, and a queen double height air mattress with built in pump. In addition to the master bath, there is a small bathroom with a shower on main level and a bathroom with tub and shower upstairs, plus a nice laundry room upstairs for your use. You will enjoy an updated well-equipped kitchen, large dining room table, huge comfy "great room" with large curved screen TV with cable and high speed internet, a 3-season porch, and a patio with table & chairs, gas grill, and fire pit. We provide wood and propane. We provide spices & cooking oil, coffee beans & grinder, tea, a few pantry items like sugar and flour, and a gift of local pure maple syrup made by your hosts!

This is a beautiful spacious home in a very lovely neighborhood. The size and number of rooms was more than we expected and there is plenty of parking. The host was very accommodating and helpful. The house was very clean and there appeared to be anything you could possibly need accessible. I would definitely rent this home again and stay longer.

A gem of a place in Taylor’s Falls. We are 7 women friends from grade school who travel together annually. Enough beds and baths for us all. Great modern kitchen. Lovely outdoor gathering space and the great room has comfortable seating for us all to chat and connect. The hosts were quickly responsive to a coffee maker malfunction even going so far as replacing it with a new one on the spot and bringing over hot coffee to replace it pronto! Very comfortable beds, toiletries and bath supplies above and beyond. Easy check out requirements and a great book about the home and the area.

Our group of women were so pleased with all the amenities and how everything is so clean! All communication with the host was done quickly and efficiently. Large spaces for group activities indoor and outdoor. So many extra kitchen supplies and the bedrooms had adequate plugins for all our devices. With our large group we had enough parking spaces on the premises. Our host thought of all the extras and we were delighted!!

We had a phenomenal stay at the Maple House in Taylors Falls, MN. The home was spacious and easily fit 2 couples, a family of 4, and a family of 3 - the property offered multiple spaces that allowed all of us to be together at the same time (kitchen/dining room, family room, spacious back patio/fire pit). Our host was gracious and kind! We would stay at this place again next year!

The abundance of clean, quality extra bedding was very impressive.Extra inflatable mattresses were much appreciated.Available free wood to burn was great, owner even brought over more wood. Quiet secluded neighborhood.Our kids really enjoyed the yard games that were available and the living room was very comfortable to watch sports at night. Kitchen easy to cook in , all necessary items for food prep were there. Host very responsive, you can tell the owners spend a lot of time taking care of the house. Thank you for a great stay

Maple House Vacation

Beautifully located among maple trees, a large lawn for outdoor games, and plenty of interior room to spread out, this was an ideal location for our family group! Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms!

The property and amenities were exactly as advertised. The hosts were very prompt on responses and available for any questions, if needed. The bedrooms must be well insulated because it was soooo quiet even with about 10 people staying in the house. The beds were very comfortable. Even in February, the view of the river is beautiful, especially the sunrises! Our entire extended family enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! Thank you! :)

The directions were easy to follow, including gaining access to the house and the wifi access. Both of the owners were responsive when I had questions. Definitely a great house to use for a family reunion.

Don & Sydney have lived in Taylors Falls many years and 4 years ago purchased the house next door, remodeled and improved it, and listed in on Airbnb. In 2021 they added "Maple House" to VRBO so others might benefit from a stay at this lovely spacious home in the village of Taylors Falls. Don is retired from the USGS (hydrologist) and Sydney continues her work as an executive coach. Because they are next door, Don & Sydney can be very responsive to guests' needs and love to meet people who come for gatherings in the St. Croix River Valley. They have a maple syrup operation at their home so in spring you'll see buckets on trees and can smell the wonderful maple syrup smell. They gift a small bottle of pure maple syrup to guests and syrup is available for sale. All funds go to two local Lutheran youth groups who help sap and sell the syrup. Sydney is a avid traveler and has stayed at vacation rentals around the world and knows from first-hand experience what guests need and want. They both love to meet guests AND will never invade your privacy.

Great location in village of Taylors Falls, off the beaten path for quiet and privacy and very close to the villages, the river, Wild Mountain & Trollhaugen, wineries, the National Park, two state parks, lakes and rivers. Fun shopping & sightseeing and Turtle Lake Casino just 30 minutes away. Nice walks and hiking trails nearby and a children's playground across the street.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Gathering space for large groups and families that also allows for individual retreat spaces and privacy with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and several outdoor and indoor spaces to hang out. The "great room" is huge and well-named.... guests enter the room and say, "This is a GREAT room!". That we can accommodate up to 9 cars parked off street is also a plus when families and groups gather together from different locations.
