This completely renovated ground floor studio unit is centrally located to all the amenities of El Matador. Great unit that is just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast. The kitchen has granite countertops and new appliances and completely stocked with everything you need to cook at great meal. This owner has thought of everything - not only is there a Mr. Coffee and a Keurig coffee maker, there is also a vertical Cuisinart waffle maker. The living room area has a queen size sofa sleeper with a 65” Q70T QLED 4K Samsung Smart TV and a Samsung sound-bar with Dolby Atmos - you'll feel like you have your own private theater. The bedroom area has a queen Hayden plush mattress by Sealy and an iHome Bluetooth digital alarm clock with dual USB charging. After a great day at the beach, relax and enjoy a game with the family on the wooden 7-in-1 combo board-game set.

El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.
Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

Family of 3 Beach Destination

Perfect spot for a small family with young children. This condo had a great layout for a small family and was equipped with everything you need (other than food/drinks). The location of the unit is right next to the heated pool and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Publix and the Boardwalk (with restaurants) were a short drive (about 5 min) away. Overall, we were very impressed by this spot!

Small Luxury Condo

This was my first time booking with a management company and I saw/ felt the difference. BRING EVERYTHING. Seriously, there's no paper towels, no coffee. Just buy/pack all daily necessities. It was a cute luxury condo perfect for my family of 4, (2 kids under 11) but I wouldn't personally book it for 4 adults. The space was limited. The unit itself was great no issues at all. I assumed the walk to the beach was closer but it's a good 5 minute walk through the parking lot to the beach. This unit DOES NOT HAVE BEACH CHAIR service included, when I arrived they gave me the pricing list so I could rent the beach chairs for the day/week. Since we went last week of May, the pool wasn't heated so everyone at the pool were attempting to get over the cold waters or just dipping their feet. I did not see a kiddy pool nor a shallow end for the smaller children. The unit is ground level so it was nice to have parking space right in front of the units patio. If your returning to the unit at night time parking is very limited.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. This unit does come with beach service. A beach chair price list is included with every check-in packet by default and we are sorry that you thought it wasn't included. For future guests, just let the beach service company know what unit you are in and they will provide 2 chairs and 1 umbrella.

Great finishes, few snafus

Booking was very easy. I emailed the owner twice before arriving with questions and never rec'd a response. I was 30 minutes away on the day of arrival and still hadn't received any check in information. The resort said their email was down. Check in went smoothly once I arrived on site. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful and very reponsive. Maintenance was also very responsive. We had to call them almost every day because of issues with the toilet. It would not flush and then it was overflowing. This was every day. It wasn't something that could easily be fixed while we were there. The furnishings were wonderful. We cook most of our meals and didn't lack for any appliance or serving utensil. I did miss having the laundry in the unit. Thankfully the community laundry is just around the corner. Bring quarters or you have to go out to the security station at the front of the property to get quarters. It was very convenient to have a ground floor unit since this property does not have elevators (some of the buildings have 6 floors). It was close to the pool and sauna, but we didn't ever hear any noise. It was a short walk to the beach. For as large as the property is, the pools were rarely crowded and very clean. When we arrived at the beach the chair and umbrella rental had not been paid for the season. The owner quickly called the provider and it was taken care of in less than 15 minutes. We would stay again, especially if the plumbing issue was addressed.
