Lovely home, lovely location, lovely host. Quiet and close to quaint downtown, but also close to every major store. Renters should know there is only 1 parking spot and that this the upstairs of a house that is owner occupied.

Our extended stay in the cottage suite was quiet, safe, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the garden lovely to view. The owner provided weekly linen and touch up cleaning and we were grateful for this. The in-town location was excellent and within walking distance to a garden park and the library.

I had to stay in Kernersville for work and dislike hotels. I couldn’t pick a better place. My stay was peaceful and the room was clean and cozy. Miss Phyllis was a great host. She was very friendly and accommodating. I also got to meet one of her pups. Over all, lovely home and welcoming host.

Great little stay

All the amenities that we could want, fantastic location for food options! I was surprised that it’s not its own cottage, it’s a room with its own bathroom that is in the owner’s house. Owner responded quickly and available if we needed her.

Cozy place for 1 or 2 people

I stayed for 4 nights while traveling for business and was very pleased with the cottage. It had everything a nice hotel offers and Phyllis was very friendly and responsive. The location ideally located and is close to grocery stores, restaurants and access to main highways.

Cozy and comfortable

The Garden Cottage is a delightful place to stay. Phyllis is a wonderful host. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. And the gardens in the backyard are beautiful even on a cool fall morning as the flowers are waning.

Lovely Room

We enjoyed our stay in the guest room at the Garden Cottage. The room and bathroom are spacious. The guest room has a small refrigerator and microwave and Keurig coffee machine. Our host, Phyllis was nice and respectful of our privacy. We would stay here again if we return to the area.

I have stayed here 2 times and both times have been wonderful. I always feel safe when traveling alone at the garden cottage. Having off street parking is definitely something I look for and the garden cottage offers that as well. I will definitely stay here again!

This place is as advertised. I did not utilize any of the outdoor amenities, but the interior was very clean, quaint and comfortable. The location is also convenient. I would stay again!

Wonderful stay!!!

We loved staying at the garden cottage! It was very clean and quiet. The neighborhood was really nice and it’s close to a lot of restaurants. The host was wonderful! She was quick to respond to our questions and she was very nice. We hope to stay here again soon if we are in the area again! I would definitely recommend this property!

My home is on a lovely street that reminds one of Williamsburg or Old Salem. Picket fencing, brick sidewalks and street lamps.

Garden Cottage is beautiful and private. The flower garden is well-maintained and guests are welcome to have morning coffee on the yellow bench for enjoying the garden. We are convenient to restaurants, historic areas and to shopping.
