This cozy, well decorated, ground level suite in the downtown historic emerywood neighborhood offers many amenities with parking just a few steps from the front door. Close to downtown, 1 block to the hospital, High Point Medical Center, 3 mins to Rocker Stadium & Center. The en-suite offers a well equipped kitchenette & bathrm along with a cush queen sized bed & 50 inch TV. Guests have sole use of the front porch entryway w/comfortable wicker chairs and cafe table. We have affordable rates!

On the last night of our say, Jude asked how was everything and if we needed anything. I told him we were almost out of coffee. When we got back to the house later that day, Starbucks freshly ground coffee was waiting for us. Thanks again for the letting us stay at your place. We will be back the next time we are in High Point.

We had a short stay in High Point, dropping off a freshman to university. The place was very conveniently located. Perfect size for what we needed. I would suggest getting current pictures of the exterior, as online shows it before it was fully renovated.Only negative was a "wake-up" call at 7:15am from a (i guess) neighbor. We didn't answer the door, she starting complaining about "this is not supposed to be a rental". Home owner stated it is and approved by VRBO.

Everything was great. The only problem that we had there was no batteries in the remote. And that was fine. We had an amazing time. We went there to watch TV. The house were nice and friendly and the chicken was easy. And we enjoyed our staying with definitely stay there again.

There were many spiders in the shower and no filtered or bottled water as the host said there would be. Besides that, the space was clean and comfortable and provided a nice space to stay in for a couple days.

This quaint place was close to everything and perfect for the weekend. The host was kind, friendly and easy to reach. My only complaint is the cob webs in the ceiling. Otherwise it was clean.

Highly recommend! The place was super clean. My wife removed the TV from our bedroom...so being able to watch TV from bed in this apt. was also much appreciated:) The hosts were also really generous...allowing me to check in a few hours before the designated check-in time.Would definitely be back here if the opportunity presented itself!

Yes, the room is in a 1914 home, the bathroom is new, the wood floor is original and hand sanded, and the windows, doors and trim is all original to our home. The house has central gas/forced air heat and the room comes with a supplemental space heater so that you have more direct control of your heat for your personal comfort. For the summer the room has its own AC window unit (pictured in listing), that was selected for its efficiency in cooling and its extra quiet design. We've yet to get a complaint from a guest about the temperature in the room, so I assume and hope you were comfortable. We are always working to improve our home and continue to offer a private, affordable, clean and homey space. Sorry it wasn't the space for you. Safe travels.

Sorry you had this experience, of course we provide washcloths with our linen package, somehow yours did not include them, we are sorry for that oversight. Of course we are on site so we could have easily remedied the problem. Again we apologize.
