Very well decorated space with comfortable beds and couch. Lacked basic kitchen utensils & chairs adequate for the number of beds / guests during our stay.Bathroom doors do not close completely leaving guests exposed. Would have been nice to have additional seating in living spaces like the master bedroom to relax at night.

Every this about this place was amazing not fair fromAnything at all the neighborhood was very quietYou have a very convenient store right up the road. Everybody in the neighborhood was very nice. Conveniently located the host was also amazing anything we needed to was hand on and is quick to respond with messages and phone call you guys would love her it’s a 10/10 recommendation if u decide to go to New Orleans stay her

Great location

Great location in a wonderful neighborhood and walkable to some amazing restaurants. Quick response from host but we did not have any issues. Extremely clean!!! We enjoyed our stay and would rent again in the future.

Lovely place to stay in New Orleans

Visiting NOLA with 3 girlfriends. House was located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to several great places to eat. 45 minute walk to Bourbon Street or 10 minute Uber drive. House was beautiful and very comfortable.

Great house and location

This property was great and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a safe and convenient location. 5 min walk to a bus stop that goes directly to the French Quarter and pretty easy to get to Magazine street as well. There are 4 beds and my group of 7 felt comfortable the whole time. The only downside was that the doors to the bathrooms did not fully close/had large gaps and it left us all feeling a little awkward and uncomfortable. This unit is a shotgun style home, so you will be walking through bedrooms to get to the kitchen/bathroom rather than going through a hallway; this was not a problem for us but just be aware! Overall, we all had a great time and it was wonderful to stay in a home we felt safe in.

First time using a Vrbo

The home was definitely to my standards ♄! Only stayed 2 days b/c we were cruising out. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. If I’m ever back in NOLA I’ll book with this host again. One thing I messed up on was somehow crossing my husband’s account when setting my account up. I couldn’t really communicate with the host afterwards. It worked out in the end though.

Great stay

We had a great stay. The house is a shotgun house and walk through room to room to get through the house. First bed is set up in the living room/dining room space with no extra wall. Overall, appropriate for a family space rental. There were a few items we suggested they fix like the barn door don’t stop rolling or are coming off the tracks and the kitchen faucet is spraying. They said they would work on these things for future guests. The backyard needs to be cleaned up as well and then the space would be amazing. Overall, it is a great space for a couple days. Kitchen has a coffee mate coffee maker, coffee, coffee filters, creamer, and sugar. Additionally, it has all the pots, pans and utensils you would need. Spices available are salt and pepper. Washer/dryer work great. Please was clean and as listed.

Disappointed and Disrespected

The home needs work and the homeowner needs hospitality training. Initially when I booked the location Lillian was prompt to reach out to ensure that she knew the ages of everyone staying in the home and that we would not be invited to have guest or parties
 which is fine. We were in NOLA to eat food and visit museums, the Whitney Plantation and other low key areas. A week before we arrived I asked her to confirm if there was a coffee maker and kitchen supplies in the home, she never responded. I had to text her to tell her to look in the app. I was told there was a Keurig, coffee, sugar, and creamer. When we arrived there was a Mr. Coffee w/ coffee and filters. THE HOME The Door. It’s not perfectly fit to the frame and there’s a gap of an inch at the bottom. You’ll need to move the mat at the front to cover this gap and hope nothing comes in. The second thing you’ll notice is that the door handle is not firm. If someone wanted to break in, this would be possible. Once you open the door, there is an strong funk that hits you. Someone has a dog, and it’s unbearable. *bring air fresheners. The first room is wide open to the first part of the house. Not a lot of privacy. The 2nd room w/ two beds is not a room. There’s no place to store your clothing, so you’ll have to leave stuff in your suitcase. The third room is the closest to the kitchen. No concerns. The bathrooms are challenging. You cannot actually use the bathtub, the knob for the cold water was missing and the water is extremely hot. The doors do not close completely on either bathroom and the last bathroom just has a cutout in the door for the handle. No locks. With four adults trying to share one shower it doubled our time for trips/adventure. This was an inconvenience and I paid with the expectation of 2 full bathrooms, not 1.5. The backyard is overgrown and there’s probably some wildlife living back there. At night we could hear something moving across the roof. The kitchen is tolerable. After our first night in the home Lillian reached out to see if everything was ok. I expressed the concerns about the door, the smell, the bathrooms, and the coffee pot. She never replied. After 2 days, we were starting to feel more uncomfortable and since the homeowner was not responsive we left the rental early. I worked with VRBO to refund us for the night we didn’t stay. Lillian refused to send back what we asked for even after asking us to name a price.

Great for a family

This a great property for a family. We had five with a big teenage boy. Everyone was very comfortable. The neighborhood seems friendly and very walkable. Good restaurants and fun New Orleans bars are relatively close. Would recommend.
