1 Level 2 bedroom, 2 bath home. 1 King and 1 Queen. Dishwasher and Microwave. No Washer or Dryer. Standard home with Recliner and 1 TV in living room only. Master bath has Walk-in Shower. Second bathroom has Tub only, no shower. Deck with furniture. Dark wood paneling in living room and bedrooms. 65 Channel Cable with ESPN, CNN and Disney. No grill available. Hot Springs Village is a gated community located about 15 miles north of Hot Springs. Enjoy golf, fishing, swimming, tennis and hiking trails in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains. Lake DeSoto Area, about 2 miles from West Main gate.

Great deck view

While this is an older house with an occasional creaky floor, it's the perfect relaxing getaway. We loved playing checkers and Go Fish in the evenings, and the 7 year old spent hours searching for special rocks or leaves outside. The drive is very steep, but that made for some good exercise on our lazy day. Well maintained, clean, and 'just like home but better' according to the boy. The fireplace is non-working, but sitting out on the deck drinking coffee and watching the sun shining on the water more than makes up for it. If you want something quiet and relaxing but not too far from everything, this is the spot for you. (But remember to bring your own hairdryer!)

This property takes you back to the 1960s. The place was dirty, the fireplace at cobwebs and had brown plastic bags inside of broken pieces in the fireplace. The beds did not have a fitted sheet. It was just 2 top sheets lying on top of the mattress. One of the rooms had a chair in the cushion was completely stained black to where you can tell it was because it was not the same color of the chair. For what they're charging a night. It is totally not worth it.. It was so bad to where they had to put us up in another place that morning..

Old and out dated property...

The property was extremely out dated. Spider webs everywhere which let me know it hadn't been visited in a while or the cleaning crew just didn't do a good job. The one TV in the house was small, microwave stopped working after the 1st use, no washer and dryer. The best thing about the property was location to the entrance gate and the front deck. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone and we visit Hot Springs Village at least 3 times a year but for our Anniversary this property was terrible.

Clean sheets Covering Old bedding

This house is located near the DeSoto trails and lake on the plus side. However all of the contents within our quite dated. The two bathrooms had been redone but everything else including all of the furnishings looked like throwback to the 70s or older. I was most disappointed with the beds mattresses which were of inferior quality and my pillows once the cases were removed were quite disgusting. The driveway is quite steep which can be intimidating for some. I think we could have done much better for the money if spent elsewhere.

Super cute home with view of lake AND cheaper than a hotel

Just my parents and I stayed and was exactly as described. Very clean and A/C worked great during bad heatwave. First time to Hot Springs and loved it. Affordable price and everything we needed but a baking sheet for biscuits but improvised with the bottom half of broiler pan. Thank you!!

Outdated, no washing machine/dryer

Clean house but outdated decorations including plastic flowers everywhere. The blankets were old and left fuzz balls on everything in contact. The coffee pot should be replaced with a single use maker since my husband drinks caffeinated and I need decaf.
