#5 Lake Time-Uncertain Lodge and Inn

Uncertain Lodge and Inn is a local, family owned Inn, located on a picturesque piece of land on beautiful Caddo Lake. #5 Lake Time is waterfront, with your room directly facing the water, allowing you to walk outside of you room, to immediately enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful view.
#5 Lake Time offers a queen bed and and a bathroom, which is very nice and comfortable for an individual or a couple, looking for a cozy place to get away.
The queen bed in this room is very comfortable and plush, making it one of our most rented rooms! All linens are provided, including sheets, comforters, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. We provide a 2-burner electric cook top for your convenience, however, you must bring your own cooking utensils. We also have a very welcoming pavilion with picnic tables, 3 charcoal grills (charcoal and lighter fluid not provided), a smoker, and a full size refrigerator for your use. This area is great for bringing groups together for dinner, entertaining, or just for relaxing and unwinding.
#5 Lake Time also has a full-size refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker (with coffee provided). Small bars of soap are also provided for your use.
All of the rooms at Uncertain Lodge and Inn are non-smoking, however, you are welcome to smoke outside on the premises.
Uncertain Lodge and Inn is located next door to a popular boat launch, Johnson's Ranch Marina.
Time spent at Uncertain Lodge and Inn is sure to give you a relaxing escape, from grilling, fishing, boating, and playing games in the lake front yard. We also provide canoes and kayaks for our guests, free of charge. With Caddo Lake being a 25,400-acre lake, you will never run out of memory making activities. You can expect great fun, with friends and family, making you want to stay longer with every visit.

Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM
Upon arrival, your door will be unlocked for you, and your key will be on the table for you. While there is no office on premises, we are available if you need anything at all!

The place was all locked up every room and it was raining and cold so I left five minutes before three. I didn’t know they sent someone to open the door at straight up 3 o’clock so I drove three hours back home and they refuse to give me a refund

Relaxing stay.

Relaxing stay. Was just what I needed. Room was clean, and comfortable. Nice patio area for our enjoyment. Love the view. Got a couple of recommendations from the owners, both were great.

This is a great place to stay, the boat ramp is right next door with a $5 launch fee
easy to charge boat batteries, grills, outdoor seating, full fridge and freezer, coffee pot, microwave comfortable bed
we fished and just pulled up on the bank to take a break at the inn and just headed back out
.they had kayaks and canoes to use but we had our boat so we didn’t use them but saw others using them
.there was a dock that others were fishing from
nice vibe at night with all the lights
would definitely stay here again.

Close to the Water

The cabin was near the water and very nice. The management said that you will have to bring your own cooking utensils and any kind other kitchen needs (silverware, bowls, cups). We did. The cabin itself was clean and very peaceful. If we want to stay near Caddo Lake again, we will certainly contact this location.

Quiet and easy

A lovely quiet space with plenty of accommodations and easy access to the water. Everything we needed was close by and everyone was very friendly. Check in and out was hands off, just a simple phone call. A nice weekend getaway. We will definitely come back. Thanks!!

Very peaceful and everyone was so friendly. Other than the owner following too close behind us as we were trying to find our cabin causing us to back into her vehicle and causing lots of damage to our new car, we enjoyed the stay. Not sure why she was right on our tail like that.

Perfect retreat

Walked to the lake,pushed a couple of very nice kayaks in and paddled about two hours. Stacy got us outfitted in two new life jackets and on Saturday afternoon Keith came by and took us on a FREE boat ride all around the lake. Definitely going back again. Also,it was my birthday weekend and a Happy Birthday banner and balloons were in our cute little cabin when we arrived!

Disappointing

We really wanted to like this place but...first of all, the owner will not answer messages or calls. Poor cell service and no wifi password is available. The door was open and key on the table, which was fine. There were No towels or washcloths and no coffee (as stated would be available in their ad). The room was cute but the floors were filthy! So were the walls and refrigerator. Also, there is no where in this remote area to eat after 6 pm. This dumpy little town is not a good tourist spot to say the least. Don't get me wrong, we're country people and love to fish, but we were just not comfortable here. We didn't stay our second night.

Love thy neighbor

It was a nice place as far as being clean and the scenery was nice. As for the fishing right off the pie in front of the place goes
.that was a disaster. The neighbors to the left drove loud boats back and forth right in front of us making it impossible to fish. It happened all day way after dark the entire weekend. We went to fish and enjoy peace and quiet on the river and it was not at all peacefully and we couldn’t even keep a lite in the water due to the boats Ravi g back and forth.

Exactly what we were after

Property was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, quiet, and perfect for a quick getaway from the city. Boat ramp next door was very convenient. Tina (property owner) was great. She was very kind, responsive, and helpful.

Leanne and I both grew up in Marshall Texas - in fact, we grew up directly across the street from one another. Our friendship started early on. Leanne left town to pursue a degree in nursing, and I remained in town, pursuing my dream of living on Caddo Lake. I have been to many lakes over the years, but I have always had a passion and love for Caddo Lake. I moved here to Caddo Lake in 2020, where I began making my dreams come true. The only thing missing, was my dream girl to share in the experience with me. Leanne and I rekindled our friendship long distance, as she was living in the DFW area. In April 2025, we married on our property here on Caddo Lake, and she and our son Parker, now call Caddo Lake "our home", and we enjoy making memories every day!
We look forward to meeting all of our guests, and helping you create memories as well!

When I saw this property with such stunning views and perfect access to the lake that I love, I knew that this was the perfect opportunity to share the gift of Caddo Lake with everyone else. Our property is located in one of the most popular areas of the lake, offering guests the most optimal experience. Leanne, Parker, and I live a half mile away, allowing us to visit with the guest and share the history of Caddo Lake everyone.
