The Best Kept Secret on Caddo Lake

Located on the beautiful Caddo Lake tucked away in the quiet wooded cove of Buzzard Bay in the middle of the Big Lake. This spacious, one of a kind cabin is located at Buzzard Bay Landing and RV Park in Karnack, Texas right next to the Texas/Louisiana border. Bring your boat/kayak/canoe and fishing poles and enjoy our easy access boat ramp on site!

Caddo Lake adventure

Several concerns:1. Air conditioner in living room dripped condensation. 2. Cabinet doors would not stay closed on island. 3. Front door would not lock. 4. No washer and dryer. 5. Bathroom not clean. 6. No place to park, neighbors took space. On the good side:1. Good access to the lake.

Very quiet. TV remotes, difficukt to operate, tv in bedroom turned on but no channels..oh well we spent most of time outdoors just needed for news and raining down time. Front door handle very loose. Ice maker no cubes. Entry road ruff. Comfortable and clean.

The overall stay was pleasurable

The overall stay was pleasurable for the price. The couches were nice and the wrap-around porch was conveniently facing the lake. The only downsides were that the kitchen island cabinets wouldn't stay shut, the vent hood over the stove wasn’t hooked up so every time we cooked the whole house would smoke up, and there wasn’t a Traeger grill as shown on the listing. There’s just a regular charcoal grill. But charcoal was provided so that was nice

Pleasant

Clean,welcoming,cozy home. We will rent again. Had a nice time and loved spacious in the home! God bless and can some email info to book this week now for next year same week -15-21. Don’t have any complaints but a suggestion, washing machine and dryer would be a great use. One cabin we stayed in had eggs, bacon, bread . The other had drinks and a fruit platter with cheese and snacks, and eggs. It was nice seeing no place clown by to buy food . Thats it.. God Bless yall! Thanks for all !

Relaxing

We had a great stay. The cabin was super clean, good location, great views of the lake, and perfect size for a family of four. Super comfy, reclining, leather couches. The king size bed was comfortable and clean. Great little kitchen. Overall a great time. When we were at the cabin we enjoyed the satellite cable and the AC was easy to understand and kept us so nice and cool. Perfect little vacay.

Relax at the lake

Very nice cabin, clean & well equipped, view was amazing & porch was so relaxing! Fun to go to wildlife preserve, state park & into Jefferson to sightsee. Manager was really helpful as well!

Very nice place to stay

We were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. Just nitpicking now
.the bathroom sink had no hot water, no wifi and the listing shows a photo with a washer and dryer and there was neither. We had no water one day because of a line break. Valerie the property manager did get.someone and it was fixed at the end of day. She also had great suggestions on where to eat in Jefferson.

Peaceful and clean property

This place was in the middle of nowhere but very peaceful! Property manager was very friendly and helpful. Place was VERY clean which I love, updated, and multiple ac units to help keep rooms cooler in one area versus another. Win for hubby and I for sure!

Very nice property.

Enjoyed the porch with rocking chairs. Very relaxing to sit out in the mornings with coffee and enjoy the sunrise. Very quite and peaceful and overlooking the lake. Put your feet up and relax.

Perfect getaway location!!!

My husband, daughter and myself were looking for a short relaxing weekend in a part of Texas that we hadn’t seen. This was the perfect relaxing location. Slade was quick to answer any questions and had everything there to make our trip enjoyable. It’s definitely off the beaten path and not near stores/city, but that is exactly what we wanted. Beautiful and serene location!!!!

Weekend Getaway

This was our second time to stay at this cabin. We love the cabin and the lake. There is a few things that I would suggest that would be helpful. We (2 adults)was there for 4 nights and only had 2 wash rags to bath with. The kitchen had no dish rags to wash dishes with and there was only 2 dishwashing pods for the dishwasher. No washer and dryer so couldn’t wash and use again. There was 1 roll of toilet paper and a piece of another roll, so we had to buy extra toilet paper. There was no extra trash bags. The only one was the one in the trash can. A can opener and measuring cups would be nice to have in the kitchen. I also killed 5 red wasps in the living room over the 4 days we was there. This cabin is very nice, but it is in a RV park and the neighbors beside us was very loud at times. As I mentioned before, this was our second stay here. The first time we had no issues and the reason for our return.
