Perfect little spot for a few relaxing days. Balboa Island is charming. The apartment is close to everything, stores, the ferry and restaurants. What a delightful spot!

My 2nd or 3rd stay and still enjoying it. We'll be back. Note; street parking is very manageable and not any where near as difficult as other areas in Newport. Older property, not lux but very charming. Great location. Have had stays from 3 days to 12 days...very close to other great beaches (Corona del Mar, Newport). Kitchen has full fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric kettle. No stove. Beautiful neighborhood for walking. All you need for single or couple.

Lives up to what it was intended for - sleeping and within walking distance of what the Island and Peninsula have to offer. Good mattress; everything was functional; quieter than I had expected. The place could use a few touch-ups here and there, but all-in-all I was satisfied with my stay.

Check in was super easy. We were a little worried about the parking, but there’s plenty of it any given time of day! We enjoyed the cute little restaurant Todos Santos for breakfast and it was walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for a short stay!

Exactly as described and great location! We had a nice, quiet stay. Host had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower and blow dryer in the bathroom. There also were beach towels, a beach bag, and beach chairs available to use. The shower itself was quite small but think that is par for the course on the island in general. Would stay again!
