This little place was really compact and nice . There were plenty of blankets. From the pictures, I thought we were renting the front of the house, but we were actually in the addition over the garage. The location was perfect . It was an easy walk to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants. I would totally stay here again.

We love staying in this cottage. Very clean, close to everything and the owner is very responsive.This was our 3rd time staying here and we will be back.A huge plus is having a garage so we don't have to search for parking in a busy beach area.

This cottage is cute, clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The host is friendly full of information and prompt in every way. The cool breeze through the cottage is an unexpected luxury in my opinion. The beach is so close we went back many times per day. We can’t wait to come back and stay again.

This rental was perfect for our weekend get away. It was close to the beautiful beach and other activities. Linda was a great host and was very helpful. She even brought us an extra bike so we could all have one. We would definitely stay here again.

The place is great. Perfect walk to the beach. Boogie boards, umbrellas, chairs, bikes, and a beach wagon were available.

This cottage was very well stocked, comfortable and in a fantastic location - walking distance to stores, restaurants and the beach. The owner was responsive and helpful. My family of 5 had a wonderful time; we wish we could have stayed longer!

This was such a cute home close to everything , lots of beach equipment provided which was nice. It is comfortable for a small family and it was great to have designated parking ! It was well appointed and very clean. I would say maybe add a pizza cutter, fly swatter and a dust pan. Great stay overall.

I spent a month at this property and it was perfect! Linda was wonderful, excellent with communication. The house was perfect, stocked with everything we needed. Perfect location just minutes from the beach. Overall wonderful experience, can’t say enough good things!

Great Stay in Charming Newport Beach Cottage

We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Communication with the host was great. All questions answered quickly. Everything was accurately described. Beds were fantastic! The living area was comfortable with an awesome recliner. Kitchen has everything you need & it was a bonus to find a pantry with staples such as spices & oils. Great water pressure in the shower. Love the outdoor front patio. Perfect for morning/afternoon sun if the beach is too windy. Location was perfect. Grocery store was a 3 minute walk. Beach 7 minutes and the Pier about 12. Having access to 4 bikes was a plus. However, they do need a little TLC. Garage was tight, but our mid-size car just fit. You definitely need a garage in Newport, especially on the weekends & during summer. Tons of beach amenities including chairs, umbrellas, toys. We didn't use them, but good to know they are there if needed. Overall the neighborhood was quiet, but a little bit of weekend noise. Our group of 4 would definitely stay in the cottage again. Thank you Linda! We will return on our next visit to Newport.

Great location

Great location,nice snug cottage (we were able to stay in front cottage) and Owner/manager was very accommodating. We would definitely like to stay here again next time we come to Newport Beach

Sweet Beach Cottage

Thank you for sharing your property with us. We come to Orange County 4-5 times a year to visit our daughter. We enjoy staying at a property instead of hotel. This property by far was our favorite. Walking distance to the bay, cafes, restaurants, grocery store, and beach. The beds were very comfortable, water pressure was wonderful, and kitchen was fabulous. It really felt like home. The neighbors were very friendly as well. A heads up for visitors who don't know the area, parking is very limited. The garage is for a medium sized SUV. A large sized is very tight getting in and out.

Newport Spring Break

Booking was based off upper unit, received bigger lower unit which was nice. Only feedback would be to update listing. Lower unit has front porch which was great. Inside had all you needed. Hot shower with great water pressure. Beds and pillows were so.. comfortable. Thanks for another great stay Linda!waywater pressure.

Great location, nice house.

My friend and i were in the area for a week of golfing. The location is great. We walked to the beach and several really good restaurants in the area. The house is charming and clean. Pay attention to the listing about the size of the garage. It is a small garage, and parking on the street is taking a chance.

Cottage Retreat

We loved the location of the cottage, a short walk to the beach and to a food market. Living space was good/comfortable. Kitchen appliances worked well. We enjoyed the front outdoor area. And having a washer/dryer (in the garage) was very helpful.

The property was beautiful, and my only issue were the ceiling fans. They were covered in a thick, black dust. With my cancer and treatments, I have no immune system, so it’s not really safe for me to breathe that stuff in. It’s a nice place to stay.
