Everything was wonderful about the property except 1 thing. Beds are memory foam and are very hard . We we're not used to sleeping on a hard mattress.

Thank you for the feedback, Jill! Those memory form mattresses can be a bit firm while they're breaking in, I apologize that they weren't ideal for you. You are welcome back any time and appreciate you leaving such a kind review for us!

Water in hot tub looked dirty , cobwebs in windows, wood bees everywhere, which made wood dust blow on you!

VrboOwner a répondu le 19 août 2026
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us! Just to help put your mind at ease about the hot tub, we drain, sanitize, and refill it fresh between each and every guest so the water is always clean and ready to enjoy. That said, we’re so sorry about the pesky cobwebs and the carpenter bees. Mountain living definitely comes with its fair share of outdoor critters, but our team has already gone out to clear those window webs and treat the bee activity so the porch is comfortable and relaxing. We truly appreciate you letting us know so we could get right on it, and we’d love to welcome you back for an even better stay down the road!

Overall it was a great place to stay. It was not as secluded as we thought, 2 houses right behind you, close enough to where you can hear their conversations. They were riding 50's which I thought was cool until they started riding them right past our porch/hot tub. The first room you walk into from outside is the the bedroom with one bed. I thought it weird that the front entrance of the house is a bedroom. That room was also extremely cold. Other than those two incidents, it was a nice stay. I just prefer more secluded and quiet. Check-in and checkout was easy, and staff was super nice and friendly.

We rented this little cabin with another couple and had the best time! The beds are comfy! I love the big couches and the fact the hot tub is covered so we could still use while it rained this weekends the fun party lights was a nice touch!

Very nice place

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. The deck was the best part. The hot tub was wonderful. Check in was a smooth process. Didn’t get to enjoy the area or cabin that much. Unfortunately my friend got sick so we were there about 16 hours :( Not sure when I will get to come back but would definitely book this place again. So sad that we had to leave!

Beautiful stay

I loved this cabin so much! I go to RRG area from time to time and this has been the nicest stay! Loved the covered deck with hot tub and easy to maneuver hot tub cover. The roads to/from are super hilly and steep, and it took at least 20 min to drive to RRG area, but worth it for this modern, clean, peaceful stay.

Peaceful Seclusion

The cabin was everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. The house was clean and allowed us a two hour early check in! The veiws from the windows and deck are so serene. Several times we walked outside there were deer walking by. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The deck is fenced in and that was very helpful as we brought our french bulldog. We used the grill and the kitchen and it had everything we needed. The check in process was odd for us because we did not get our check in email (probably because they extended the courtesy of early check in). You check in miles down the road, but when we called the women was very helpful. The cabin was perfect. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our family of 5. The location is perfect to get everywhere you want to go in the area. Highly recommend if you are wanting peace and relaxation!

Above the Pines was a nice get-a-way

The "Above the Pines" property was in the perfect location to celebrate a wedding in the "Cliffview" area and it was nicely located in an area with no visible neighbors. We enjoyed the cover deck/hot tub. The cabin was clean and we had no issues. It was a great stay.
