Our stay at Kaanapali Shores

The unit was a bit dated, but clean. It's located in a very convenient spot, loved the restaurant and grocery store near by. Wonderful spot.

Great Condo and Resort

Really enjoyed our stay, the resort has 2 pools and direct beach access. Snorkeling was also good right off the beach. Short trek down to Black Rock, Lahaina or up North to other beaches. Would stay again!

Fantastic time in Maui

We enjoyed our stay here. It is close to the beach and restaurants. Tiffany was very helpful and she responded quickly to our inquiries. She is an excellent host.

Great location!

Easy check in, great communication, beautiful resort. We would recommend to anyone. We have 2 teenagers and they slept on the pull out couch comfortably.

Everything was pretty smooth from checkin to checkout. The facilities in the area such as the pool and such were great. The apartment met everything we expected as well.

We enjoyed the property and the perks of the resort. Everything was nearby or easy to get to. Finding parking for our truck was the only thing that was hard. Limited parking for vehicles over 6’6”

Amazing!

We booked this unit for our son and daughter-in-laws honeymoon. Great communication on booking. The kids absolutely loved their stay and raved about the unit. Super clean, great location, had all the necessities & host was easy to get ahold of and went out of his way to make their trip extra special. Highly recommend!

Great location!

This unit is located in a great location. The resort has 2 pools, a nice beach, perfect for sunsets, and comes with beach chairs and umbrellas, cooler, & boogie board. You can get clean beach towels daily from the resort. It also had laundry soap, dish soap and things you would need for a short stay! The only downside for us was the deck was under construction (which happens!) so we weren’t able to enjoy that aspect of the unit!

Maui family trip

I have to say I was a bit nervous staying here , because I never been to Maui before and the area . I am very happy we stayed here . We brought my daughter here for her 8th birthday . She had the best time . They had everything we needed in the area . The pools and beach was perfect especially the tree that has shade underneath . The condo had everything we needed for our stay even beach chairs, cooler etc . The host was very responsive when I had questions . She also did us a very very kind favor since we had a late flight traveling with a little one with a late check out . That helped us out so much it definitely made our trip ! I would stay here again . Thank you so much .

No Balcony :(

So, so bummed when we arrived and I opened the balcony curtain to a sign that said it was closed and would not open. Lanai’s are a part of my Hawaii vacation! Reading out there in the morning and playing games at night and we couldn’t. I was especially frustrated because this was not communicated to me. Had it been, I would have changed where I was staying. I booked here for the view and never got it.

Concerns Regarding Our Recent Stay in October 2024

Unfortunately, we found that the property did not match the description in the listing. Additionally, there was a strong mildew smell that made our stay uncomfortable. My wife and I stayed one night and left for the remainder of our week vacation and booked with Marriott down the street. We also experienced difficulty in communication with you (host), as our concerns were not met with a lack of responsiveness and a condescending tone, which added to our frustration. I believe it’s important to share this feedback, as it may help improve the experience for future guests. I would book elsewhere and avoid this Wal-Mart feeling condo with mildew. The owner was unwilling to provide any type of refund as well.

Great property with ocean view

Our stay was lovely. We enjoyed the condo, ocean view and the sound of the waves. The property was gorgeous! 2 pools, with 1 right at the beach. Property manager was very easy to get a hold of and even left us champagne. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Location was perfect. Grocery store and restaurants were right across the street. The Beach Club restaurant right on property was great for dinner and drinks. We'd stay again for sure! Mahalo!

Weekend Getaway

Overall our rental experience was good. Quick responses and informative info. The place had a lovely view, full kitchen, washer and dryer and was just as the pictures showed. The resort was very nice and lots of shops were nearby for eating and anything you might need. The only negative was the second bed (pullout) Although it was a queen size bed, and was big enough for 2 adults, the mattress was poor quality and it was really uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect family location

My little family had a wonderful stay. The size was perfect for us and our two little kids. The lanai gave us a pleasant view of the ocean where we ate many meals. The kitchen had all the basic things you need to cook. Location is great as it’s across from a grocery store, there are two pools downstairs, and the beach pending on the tide are right in front of the hotel.
