Welcome to The Cottage, a peaceful retreat nestled on a 14-acre property where nature and relaxation meet. This charming 360 sq. ft. Tiny House has been thoughtfully updated in 2024, offering all the comforts of home while maintaining its rustic charm. Whether you're looking for a cozy escape or a place to unwind, The Cottage provides the ideal sanctuary.

Cozy Living Spaces

Bedroom: A restful haven with a queen-size memory foam mattress for a great night's sleep. An alarm clock is in the closet, if you need to follow a schedule.

Bathroom: Well-appointed and designed for your convenience.

Fully Equipped Kitchen

A range of appliances including a stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, crockpot, and a Keurig coffee maker, stocked with cookware and dinnerware for four.

Outdoor Grill: Available in the warmer months for your outdoor cooking needs. Let us know if you want to use a grill

Entertainment & Relaxation

TV: Enjoy local stations via the HDTV digital antenna, or relax with a selection of DVDs.

No Wi-Fi or Cable: Embrace the true escape with minimal distractions, but cell service is generally available for communication when needed.

Fire Pit & Garden: Perfect for evening relaxation, stargazing, or making s’mores with loved ones.

Hello! We live and work in the Cherry Creek, NY area. You can find me working at our hardware store just a mile down the road or puttering around the property. Hosting gives me the chance to meet new people and share the beautiful area we call home. When I'm not working or hosting, I enjoy spending time outdoors, tinkering with projects around the property, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of our community. It's rewarding to offer a warm and welcoming space for guests to enjoy and relax!

Just a short walk or drive from our property, you’ll find local Amish shops, where you can experience craftsmanship and simplicity at its finest. From handcrafted furniture to homemade jams, quilts, and baked goods, the Amish community offers a taste of a slower, more intentional way of life. Nearby antique stores are also a must-see, filled with treasures that tell stories from the past. It's these local experiences—rooted in tradition and quality—that make our property stand out from the rest.

What we love most is how our guests can immerse themselves in this peaceful, slower pace of life, while also enjoying the nearby attractions that make the area so special. Whether you’re strolling through our garden, walking along the paths, or exploring the Amish shops and antique stores, there’s always something to discover. This unique blend of nature, history, and craftsmanship creates an experience that you won’t find anywhere else.
