The whole cottage is yours. Kick up your feet and enjoy the water view from the living room and bedroom after a day of hiking, kayaking, or shopping in nearby Boothbay Harbor or Wiscasset.

Originally built in the 1920s and well-updated with many modern conveniences.

One private, queen bedroom and bonus sleeping area via pullout sofa bed in the living room. Kitchenette features a full-size fridge, kitchen sink, dual hotplate, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, and Foreman grill.

Full bath with tub/shower, sink vanity, and commode. Washer and Dryer for guests' convenience.

Self Check In/Out

Access, check-in, and checkout instructions are available in the Vrbo app 3 days before check-in, and all other information is available as soon as they book. VRBO will also email the guide to you 3 days before check in. We stayed at this particular cottage a couple years ago and loved it so much that we decided to come back again this year. It is pet-friendly, providing bowls and a bed for our puppy dog. The view is great with spectacular sunsets across the Sheepscot River. The location is great, close to the town of Wiscasset and near to Damariscotta, another town we especially like. The area of cottages is quite nice and great for walks, as well as on the dock. The owner has changed since the last time we were here. There are little maintenance details that need attention-broken curtain tie-back (broken two years ago-not fixed), drywall taping that needs repair in every room (especially bathroom), plaster repair of bedroom wall not finished or painted. We were disappointed that the cottage has not been maintained very well. There was very little communication with owner regarding check-in.Despite these annoyances with this particular cottage, the area is great.

The cottage was well stocked and spotless and very welcoming. My only suggestion is that I would like the bed linens to be laundered in scent free detergent. I have allergies to many scents and I know that many share my problem. ‘We enjoyed the area and loved the cottage.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this cabin! It was right on the water with a beautiful view. The village is gorgeous, the pier is so fun to walk and be out on the water anytime you want. It was centrally located to everything that we wanted to see and everyone we wanted to visit. We will definitely be returning!

We used this as our base for our 3 day stay of touring the coast. Made a day trip to Arcadia National Park. The fall colors were amazing.
