Cozy cabin with a view 1 mile from downtown Clayton

This cute, comfy cabin is secluded enough that you'll feel like you're away from it all, but super close to restaurants, shopping, hiking, and more (War Women Dell, Black Rock Mountain, Talullah Gorge, Lake Burton, and Lake Rabun are all a 30-minute drive or less).

There are 2 bedrooms (king and queen beds) each with its own bath, a deck with ample seating, a fully stocked kitchen, plus a fireplace, grill, and a garage/rec room with a pool table, cornhole, darts, and couches. We've got plenty of games and books, too.

Kick back and relax on the deck or head to town to enjoy great shopping and eating.

Perfect mountain hideaway cabin! Clean and well appointed. Everything you could ever need. Explored Clayton, Helen and Dahlonega. Also traveled to Athen to watch the DAWGS play! Easy in and out. Will definitely be back!

Was not able to stay at the house because of a water line breaking before arrival. The outside looked nice and close to Clayton. Called VRBO to help us find a new house to rent and they absolutely refused to do anything! So we’re in a mountain town with little to no cell reception trying to locate a new house. VRBO has terrible customer service if you ever need it, be warned!

A great place

I spent several days here and had a lovely, restful time. It was just the right size and very comfortable. The house has anything you could possibly need, plus some fun recreational bonuses. The owners were very communicative and helpful. It was also very convenient to downtown Clayton and other nearby towns.

Nice place in the mountains

Nice place perfect for our size group. House was like advertised and overall very good. Check in was easy and we had no issues so we did not need to contact anyone. My only complaints are that the secondary bed was not comfortable. The grill was very dirty when we arrived and honestly needs to be replaced but everything else was very good. Amazing views of nature and not to difficult to get to house by car.

Great Stay at a Great Cabin

We had a great stay in Clayton at this super cozy and convenient cabin! Super close to town, yet it feels like you’re away from it all in the mountains. Related, great view off of the comfy covered porch. The cabin has everything you’d need or want for your stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable Cabin

The location was perfect for touring a variety of hiking areas we were interested in. The cabin was very comfortable and cozy with one of our favorite features being the fireplace. The view of the mountains and feeling secluded when you truly are close to so many amenities, was great too. Last but not least, the bed in the master was comfortable, another perk when you’re on vacation.

A perfect place to weather the storm

This home had it all, and we were grateful as our stay was extremely rainy. The indoor fireplace and the warmth of the house, in general, was quite comforting.Stocked with everything you could want while indoors, it was a short trip to Tallulah Falls as well.Our stay was perfect and a would definitely recommend it to others.

Wonderful! A little paradise in the mountains

Beautiful property, better than in pictures. Well appointed with everything you need. You can tell a lot of thought and care was put into furnishings, decorations, bathroom and kitchen necessities.Very roomy and cozy. My daughter and her friends loved the pool, board games and cute decorations that made you feel right at home.The last 1/2 mile to the property is quite steep and the entrance to the property sneaks up on you. You get used to it later on, just be alert and learn the surroundings.We had a wonderful time and would highly consider renting again in the warmer months to better enjoy the outdoor amenities.

Loved the view, especially the cross on the mountain but outside was not clean at all so could not sit out on the porch and grill was totally unusable. Inside was neat and had what we needed for our stay.

Green Mountain Cabin

This cabin is in a great location & close to town. Beautiful view of the mountains from the porch. The kitchen is very well stocked. The beds are super comfortable. Very relaxing atmosphere & well appointed comfortable furniture. The restaurant in Clayton “Fortify” did not disappoint. Get reservations!

We live full time in Atlanta but have dreamed about owning a mountain getaway for years. COVID and the unavoidable certainty of soon being empty nesters spurred our search until we found the perfect cabin in Clayton.

We fell in love with this property when we saw it. It was cozy, comfy, and just the perfect size. We love the stone fireplace, the pitched wood ceiling, and the beautiful sunsets from the deck. We love that we’re so close to town and all its amenities (hello Ingles and coffee shops!) while still feeling like we’re away from it all. We like how many great hiking trails and activities that we can get to within a 30-minute drive, but we also love just being able to sit on the deck, enjoy the view, and watch the hummingbirds.

We’ve got two kayaks and a standup paddle board that guests are welcome to use on nearby Tallulah Lake or Lake Rabun. We’ve also got a pool table, corn hole, games, and darts for your amusement. And did we mention the great deck and sunsets?
