Perfect place for our family's thanksgiving weekend. Very clean and well- maintained, the kitchen was fully-stocked with high quality kitchenware, beds were very comfortable, hot tub experience was excellent, and the location is ideal for exploring McCall with direct access to several hiking trails. We'll be back.

Great place in a quiet neighborhood! We really appreciated the hot tub and spacious kitchen. Microwave was not working but we were able to utilize the stove for our cooking needs! Host was responsive when there was a question.

Beautiful house, custom home!

We had such an amazing time here. Very kid friendly in a great location just 5 minutes from town. Perfect patio for a fire, and easy access to the hot tub from the master bedroom. My husband is a trim carpenter and this was the first house we have ever stayed in that he had nothing to pick apart about the wood work. He actually spent the time admiring it!

Very nice! Might include instructions on operating the hot tub. I wasn't able to find them if they were there. We really enjoyed the area, did some great fishing, walking, bought a few memorabilia. In the future, we'll set up longer stays, as we really only had 1 full day in McCall - but that's part of our learning curve. LoL

The kitchen was wonderful, we did all our own cooking. It was well equipped and had several spices. The backyard area was great for barbecuing and hanging out. Great location!

Weekend Get Away

The house was perfect for our family. It was very clean, and accessible in a quiet little neighborhood. We were very excited that the house had air conditioning since it was one of the hottest days of summer. We sat on the patio in the evenings and morning to play games, watch the wildlife, and drink coffee. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. We will visit this property again.

Delightful June stay!

The location of this property is great! It’s so easy to access the bike trail and Ponderosa State Park is very close. We rented e-bikes at Hometown Sports and easily rode to the park, through the park and back to the house. The house is very nice and the location of kitchen items is well labeled. Everything we needed was there so our weeklong stay was comfortable. It was a great base camp for our hiking adventures!

The house was clean and well furnished. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay and the location in the forest was very peaceful & beautiful. Thanks to Matt for being so easy to reach with any questions we had prior to our stay. The property exceeded our expectations as did the town of McCall. Great place

This was a beautiful place to stay. It was just my son and I. This place had everything. It was nice having the shuffle board which was a big hit for my son. One of the best places I have stayed in McCall. Definitely want to do it again.

Deer Forest Getaway

We love staying here and it's our 2nd time and hope to return again next summer for 2 weeks. The only problem we had was the people that cleaned the hot tub came by and put some green slime chemicals in the tub and made it unusable for 3 days. I wish they would've tried to coordinate that between guests. But the house is in such a great location and has everything you need.

Old neighbors reunited

This property worked out great for our two familes. When not out and about enjoying the lake our kids were entertained with the woods out back, the movie and book library, table and board games too. The only regret is that we didnt book for a longer period.

Perfect spring break getaway!

736 Deer Forest Getaway was perfect for our large family! We enjoyed the shuffle board and bonus loft area for the kids. The house is comfortable, well stocked, and not overly fancy but very cozy. Will definitely look into staying here again in the future.
