Welcome to the Retreat at the Cottages in McCall, ID, tucked in the towering pines just off the golf course. Privacy and relaxation at its finest while still being a 4 minute drive to enjoy all of the shopping, and eating in town, Ponderosa State Park and Payette Lake. Sit on the expansive back porch, relax, and enjoy the passing deer. As you walk in the front door, soaring vaulted ceiling and windows that allow natural light to fill the open space welcoming you. The river rock fireplace is perfect for curling up to in the winter and filling the space with warmth while listening to your favorite tunes on the record player. Enjoy your favorite movie on either of the smart TVs, one located in the living room downstairs and the other one in the 2nd bedroom upstairs. The newly updated kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to cook your most elaborate meal and gather with friends and family. Or fire up the gas grill for an alfresco cookout after fun-filled days outdoors. This spacious restful retreat has a designer styled main level master with king sized bed giving you a comfy yet cozy mountain modern vibe. The loft upstairs is a great place for the kids to play games or get some work done at the dedicated work space. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are equally spacious and stylish. Bedroom 2 offers the most dreamy king sized bed and double mattress (tucked away in the closet) and bedroom 3 has 2 twin XL beds. The bathroom upstairs provides plenty of space for the guests upstairs. Need extra space to put your toys while you stay? The oversized 1 car garage provides space for your toys or vehicle. Need something fun to do for the kids on a snowy winter day? We have lots of fun snow toys for them to stay occupied. WHAT’S NEARBY
Tee off at McCall Golf Course or launch an adventure on Payette Lake. Brundage and Tamarack Ski Resorts make for memorable day trips. Ponderosa State Park is great for beach access and light hikes through the trees.

The house was great! We vacationed with my son, daughter in-law and 3 yearly old granddaughter, so good separation when needed with upstairs bedrooms and additional living space. Kitchen was stocked with spices & cooking utensils. Be prepared for a walk down a gravel stair step path, but it was private the way they have the houses situated. Very clean!

Great stay overall! The host's communication was excellent—responsive and easy to work with throughout. The only downside was the deck: it had a really peaceful setting, but it was extremely dirty and the patio chairs were covered in grime, making them unusable. Would have loved to relax out there. Everything else about the property was great, and we'd consider staying again if this gets cleaned up.

We had a wonderful stay! This property was very clean and organized. We did not have any problems at all, but when I reached out to Marty with a quick question he was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The cabin was excellent and roomy for our party of 6 and our dog. No fault of the host or the listing, but for my experience, 4 of our party have mobility issues, so the path and steps to get from parking to the entrance was difficult. Most people will not have any issues. But for us it would have caused a different booking if I was aware of it. The steps from parking to the entrance are gravel and does not have a suitable railing for anyone who has to hole on down stairs. But the stairs inside the cabin were fine to get to the rooms upstairs. It was great to have a pantry with basic cooking ingredients and coffee available. And the back deck opens to thick trees that brought deer every day.Close to main street without being in town. And we walked to the pool very easily every day. I would stay again if I’m not traveling with the members of our party who struggled with the outdoor stairs and pathway.

Great trip!

This property is wonderful! It was perfect for our group, was exactly as pictured (if not better- it's got everything you would need!). I most appreciated the thoughtfulness of enough towels, enough TP, bathmats (last place we stayed there you just had a hard, cold, tile floor). In addition, the owner was great with communication, information and extremely quick to respond to questions. We'll definitely stay again.

The property was clean and nicely laid out for our visit to McCall. Perfect location for a wedding at Pilgrim’s Cove. Easy access to the local walking trail and golf. Communication with Marty was great.My only comment is access: Nothing in description describes the walk to the property. It is down a set of extended gravel steps. It was challenging for the 85 YO who came to visit. If members of your group move easily, there will be no issues.
