Relaxing stay

Communication was great, host was great very helpful and friendly. Clean house close to beach and downtown. Will absolutely book this house again. Check in and out was so easy.

I had to drive back home because house not available.

Check in was scheduled at 4pm on July 17th and I was confirmed to stay until July 19. When I arrived at the rental house at 4:20pm on July 17th, I found out that the house was occupied and there was no availability until possibly the 20th, but no guarantee. I clarified my confirmation and shared it with the lady who lived across the street, who was managing the prodperty and she said she was told I was not arriving until the 20th. She was not helpful. She got on the phone and was talking to the home owner who was not available or helpful to me at all. I asked for a full refund to use for a local hotel but found no room availabilities, so I had to return home, I barely made it back across the border before they closed. I have not received my refund and I would not ever recommend this VRBO. Still waiting for a refund or a call back.

The home was cozy and new.

Home was fairly new but I would recommend to update the decor, such a large living area and kitchen and not much decor. The tv is so small for such a large living area. I was also planning on cooking while I was there, there was no pots and pans. Missing a lot of kitchen prep stuff. The 4 cups and coffee mugs looked very cheap. Again, such a nice home to not have at least the min. equipped things. The towels looked old and the rugs in the restrooms. I would like to stay here again but I feel it needs more "ready" to make you feel more homey. I would also recommend a lock box for the entry keys and details be provided for entry and not me having to ask for them. Thanks again for the stay. The parking was amazing, was able to fit my vehicles perfect.
