Cozy Lake Hartwell Cottage near Tugaloo State Park

Lake Hartwell cottage, 90 min away from Atlanta. Three bedrooms. A perfect place to enjoy a sunset, golfing, fishing, hiking, swimming & boating or work remotely with highspeed internet and office setup. Bring your boat or rent from Harbor Light Marina 15 min away. Public boat ramp (1 mile away). Open living area is a great place to watch the game.

The kitchen is well appointed with lots of cookware, cook's tools and serving ware. The bathrooms both have complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Towels, hand towels and wash cloths are also included. Beds are appointed with fresh, comfortable mattresses and cozy linens.

On Lake Hartwell with seasonal view of the water through the woods of the Army Corps land. Closest water access is Poplar Springs Recreation area. They have picnic, boat ramp & dock access. Driving distance on paved roads (via Hillshore Rd) is 1.8 miles. Tugaloo State Park is about 5 miles away also.

Melanie was more than accommodating to us for our stay, allowing us not only early check in but also allowing us to add a day at the end of our original reservation. The cottage is very clean, and has so many “extras” that made our stay so comfortable, welcoming and easy! She includes so many items that, while not strictly necessary, are so thoughtful and made our stay much more home-like. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll absolutely stay here again.

It was a nice place, had everything you would need, inside appearance was clean and no bugs inside.My only complaints was that a few of the sheets smelled like dog, (but that’s coming from us who don’t have inside animals) and the grass was not cut.

We wanted a quiet and peaceful place to stay for a few days. It was quiet and restful We weren’t sure that would be the case as our first look at the property was disappointing. It looked like the yard hadn’t been mowed in over a month! We thought maybe the rain had been the reason but we noticed all the other neighbors were nicely cut. The house seemed clean throughout. We did notice a few roaches though. The kitchen was well stocked with our needsWe did appreciate the many upgrades in the home. The master bedroom was tastefully decorated we could see it was well done. The mattress was very comfortable! The second bathroom though not remodeled was clean. It is good there was a bathtub and a walk in shower.Thank you for the stayAndrea!

Perfect location

My husband and I needed a place close to a wedding reception. This was perfect as it was just less than 10 minutes away. We brought our pups with us and the yard was perfect for them to be able to play in. House was more than we needed but we would for sure stay again if we ever came back to the area. The host is also so nice and helped with all my questions!

This was a nice cozy home. It was clean and well organized. The only detail was that it does not have access to the lake but it’s a 10 minute drive to the park that has a nice beach. đŸ–ïž in the listing it says that the beach is part of the property but it is not.

Lake Hartwell Cabin

The host had excellent communication. We had to reschedule due to an unforeseen issue with the tournament and the host was able to accommodate. This was a nice property on Lake Hartwell and I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. This house is in a quiet neighborhood and has a nice back yard. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils needed for cooking. The master bedroom is roomy and the bed (mattress) provided a good night sleep. The two bathrooms are definately a plus We will definitely request to book again.
