Great place for a family stay

The house was incredibly clean, well supplied, and extremely comfortable. We are lucky to have selected a home ran by these hosts!

Great location, Great Service, Friendly Owners

Very nice, private and everything we needed including kitchen utensils, bathroom supplies, wheelchair accessible, wifi service, tv programming options, laundry machines, plenty of room, great location on the lake and more. Thank you for your hospitality!

Backyard lake

Nice house, good parking, fantastic view from the back porch, very quiet at night. This would be a great place for family to enjoy a week or weekend at the lake.

We loved it! The home had everything you could need - kitchen stuff, ample towels and bedding, modern and clean appliances. We were able to swim and float right off the dock and the water was quite warm. The outdoor shower was great after playing in the lake all day. They had plenty of life jackets and kayaks and our little one made good use of the toys and books. The AC was ice cold and was so refreshing for the weather. We visited from a place that doesn’t have good tap water and it was great to not have to need bottled water. Walmart was a quick 20 minute drive when we needed to grab groceries. We will absolutely be back to stay!

Amazing home!

We stayed at Uncork and Unwind for mini-vacation. Unfortunately, hurricane Helene interloped our trip, but we made the most of it. Even in the storm, the view of the lake from the front room was breathtaking. The host, Melinda, was amazing. She checked in with us and went the extra mile to be sure we were comfortable. The extra touches in the home were much appreciated. We can’t wait to go back when the weather is cooperative.

Fathers day weekend

The home was perfect for our family. The downstairs room was great for our college daughter to have her own space. You can enjoy watching everyone play on the dock from the bottom porch. The only issue was that they ended up doing some yard work during our stay. With that said, they own the property attached to the home we stayed in, and it had a change of tenants during our stay. Over all would say again.

Great Lakefront Stay!

We had a great time staying at this property. We were a group of 4 adults and 1 two year old. The house was well-stocked and cozy. They even had a selection of children's toys and dishes available to use! The two bedrooms and bathroom on the main level were adequate for our needs. The third bedroom is in the basement and requires you to access it from outside. While it was not a convenient spot to put our two year old, it would be fine for another adult or couple who wanted a little extra privacy and their own half bathroom. The house had a nice deck with the lakefront view, a covered patio, and a firepit. We took our canoe over to Pirate Island, and that was a convenient outing. We appreciate that the owner was available if we needed anything, though we did not have any problems come up during this trip. The only mildly annoying thing was completely beyond their control - a neighbor had a lot of dogs that were noisy at times, though they tried to quiet them quickly. All in all, a very pleasant stay!
