WE DON'T LIVE IN A SQUARE WORLD, WHY VACATION IN A SQUARE HOUSE?
Come and experience the unique feel of a round house designed and built by world renowned Deltec Home, Inc., of Asheville, NC. This 2 story home, built on pilings, comfortably sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and 3 full baths, washer/dryer and a queen sleeper sofa all located on the first floor. The second floor contains a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and a full bathroom. Smart TV in the Living Room, streaming available also in the bedrooms (no cable). From the 2nd story deck you will enjoy beautiful sunsets and see for miles with views of Charlotte Harbour in the distance. A large secured storage area is provided below the home for your convenience. From the hardwood floors, flat screen TV's, granite countertops to the ceiling fans, you will find this home to have a classy yet very comfortable feel.
This Bokeelia home, located on 1.3 acres, is within walking distance to Four Winds Marina, where you can rent or store your boat while you're here. There is NO DOCKAGE available at our home.
You can also grab lunch or dinner at The Lazy Flamingo, Capt N Cons, or the Tarpon Lodge. A public boat ramp and fishing pier are less than a mile from the property. Bokeelia is a quiet, relaxed and tranquil spot which will remind you of what island life in Florida once was. The waters surrounding Bokeelia offer some of the best fishing in the country. You can stay in the back bays and fish for snook, redfish or snapper or head to the flats for trout and mackerel or try your hand at tarpon fishing in the famous Boca Grande Pass. Visit up close with the dolphins from the canoe. For land lovers, the island offers fine and casual dining, golf, swimming, tennis, biking, and shopping. it is just a short 30 minute ride off the island to enjoy historical landmarks (The Edison Home), a family water park (SunSplash), catch a show at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater or shop at one of several malls in Fort Myers.
We have bikes, tennis racquets, volleyball, golf clubs, a canoe, and much more to help make your stay enjoyable. Please note...NO pets are allowed!

We’ve stayed here before. We like the location, numerous local places to eat. The place is clean, kitchen is well stocked, plenty of linens and a big yard to hang out. It has bikes to ride, sidewalks also. Hostess is prompt replying when needed.

Perfect location

As a long time visitor to Pine Island, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Round House. Leiland was the perfect host. For those of you who are coming down to take advantage of the outstanding fishing out of Four Winds Marina you couldn’t find a better rental property.

Perfect location!

This property comes with everything you need to enjoy the beauty of Bokeelia! The Round Hound house location is amazing for riding the bicycles provided and the house was very clean.

Great vacation spot

The owner was so pleasant to work with beforehand, during our stay and upon check out! The house was clean and welcoming. The living area and kitchen are large and open. Having 3 full bathrooms was also a plus!

Great stay

This is our third time at the round house. The view is beautiful from the top floor. Bikes are available. It was fun to use the canoe provided however it is leaking and needs repairs. The weather was good. It’s sad to look at all the damage from previous storms, many have not been repaired yet. We would definitely rent again!!

Comfortable house with great location

I rented the Round House so our family could have a mini reunion over the Christmas holidays. The house was comfortable and very well furnished, especially the kitchen. We were able to prepare and serve a dinner for 12 with ease. There was a large comfortable couch for watching tv. The public boat ramp was nearby and we had an amazing dolphin cruise. I would have no hesitation recommending the Round House.

I will contact VRBO and have the review removed. I had a substitute cleaning crew (not my usual) who said that the place was very messy, many linens, and there were food crumbs everywhere. The review was based on her report. Days later when I said there were 6 staying there, she said, oh, maybe it was not that messy. So - 1. I will not use her services again, and 2. I will remove the review. If I am able, I will redo your review. Please accept my apology.

Had a great time

The place was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The host was easy to contact and quickly solved the few minor glitches we experienced on arrival. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. A very pleasant surprise was the wonderful view from the upstairs deck. Though the house is not directly on the waterfront, the view of mangroves and Charlotte Harbor is magnificent. The only drawback, (this might be a plus for many vacationers) is the location. Pine Island is a bit isolated. Though necessarys like food and medicines are easily available, getting to the mainland can take a while. Otherwise Pine Island is very nice, relatively undeveloped (not a single traffic light on the whole island) with a definite rural atmosphere.

Sweet Spot

While the property was not directly on the water, It was close enough. You could see a glimpse of water from the upper porches. The porches are abundant and face multiple directions, so you could move around to get more or less exposure to the sun/sunset/sunrise. There was a really nice breeze for our entire visit. The bikes and canoe are great features. The property is well appointed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I can not say enough about how easy to work with the host was during the entire visit. The attention to detail and ease of communication made the whole trip a pleasure and a wonderful experience. This would not be a good match for a person who can not negotiate stairs.

Property as advertised but the AC thermostat was being remotely changed. Even after a telephone call asking that it not be changed, the property manager still changed again. Not a good move in the Florida heat as it takes more to cool it down again.

Relaxing

The house was relaxing and the neighborhood was good. Easy to find the house and close to many things we wanted to do. Thermostat was set a bit warm for us at night (76) but other than that it was perfect for our trip!

Rest & Relaxation at the Round House

We so enjoyed our stay at the Round House. Located in Bokeelia on Pine Island, it's the perfect spot for rest and relaxation. We enjoyed riding the provided bicycles to the end of the Island. The living area is super comfortable and we enjoyed a comfy movie night one of the evenings we were there. It's about a 15 minute drive into Matlacha, which we enjoyed a day in. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped (we did have to buy dish detergent). The top story deck was a wonderful spot of an evening cocktail and wind down. Thanks so much!

Amazing Round House!

The round house was one of a kind!! The location was perfect, private and quiet! The host was quick to respond, and we had no issues. There is lots of room in the house and the deck is perfect for sitting out for eating or just relaxing l! The bikes were a great addition! We would definitely stay here again!
