Heated Salt Water Pool and Spa on Marble Lanai, with large screened enclosure. This side-by-side home is fully equipped with appliances, linens, 2 kayaks, 2 bikes - just pack your bags for this vacation rental! Don't forget to BYOB... Boat* that is! (*contact Host for more information) Free use of ramp and slip, with shallow canal access to Matlacha Pass and Charlotte Harbor/Cayo Costa/North Captiva islands. Bokeelia is truly a forgotten paradise... once you drive over the bridge through Matlacha, you'll feel the vibe... fishing village, festive shops, variety of dining options, parks, sunsets, canals... you'll be surrounded by happy wildlife... dolphins, manatees, eagles, osprey, egrets, ibis, herons... even 2+ resident Gopher Tortoises on our property (look but DON'T touch or feed!) Even the Palm Trees love it here (Pine Island is the palm tree growing capital of the region!) Be aware there are no public beaches on Pine Island, which is surrounded by Gulf waters and bordered with mangroves. Ferries available to the barrier islands, one hour drive to Ft Myers beach.
Hosts (retired, 60-ish couple) occupy the other unit of this duplex and are very respectful of their guests' privacy.
The large pool/spa/lanai area is shared, with each unit having its own full set of loungers, chairs, firepit, and private outdoor dining area.

Overall-excellent accommodations and communication with ample room to enjoy all the amenities offered at the property. Our long weekend stay was too short, but our 2yr old grandson enjoyed his own bedroom and swimming in the pool with the adults. Definitely would stay again and recommend this property. 10 out of 10.

First off the property and location are AMAZINGLY beautiful! The extras provided are above and beyond (kayaks, bikes, the pool/hot tub) the beds are comfortable and bathroom spaces are nice. There were some safety hazard concerns with loose tiles at the pool shower and the entrance to the pool as well as one out of the two fireplace would not work. We tried the entire weekend to connect to the speaker and it just never worked despite constant communication and instructions left it just didnt work and we had to listen to music we didnt know or want that had adds included.. not very relaxing and kind of stressfull to be honest. The remote for the hot tub was left with a very low battery causing it to have troubles with responding to any buttons being pushed as it was attemting to use the last bar of battery left. The fan blades were covered in dust and i was not comfortable turning them on and having dust fall on me while i laid in bed. Over all it was a nice stay but with how amazing and nice the house is coupled with the price paid i would fully expect it to be clean and safety hazard free. If i wasnt paying attention when tripping on the loose tile by the pool it nearly made me fall into the pool on the steps. The tile by the pool shower nearly made me loose balance and fall into the house next to the gas grill. Having to use our phones as speakers all weekend when id expect all amenaties to be simple and easy to use is unacceptable.

Short Bokeelia visit

A group of 3 adult family members stayed 3 nights. The location is perfect for any activity on Pine Island. The house is clean & well-stocked. We especially enjoyed the great pool.

Excellent vacation spot in SW Florida

The place was perfect for our family. Private, quiet, secluded and in a great central location for Pine Island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool was in great condition and we were also able to use the provided bikes, kayaks, grill, and ither amenities. Hosts were great and were available as needed but also gave us our space and privacy

Paradise in Bokeelia!!

Wonderful accommodations and the pool and hottub made for our own little paradise right out our lanai.Will try to make a return appearance sometime to get out of Michigan’s winter next year.

Family trip to Bokeelia

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. The home is fully stocked with everything you could need. The hosts are great to work with. The lanai and pool are beautiful! Super convenient location! Nice to have the dock/ramp option too. Hope to be back!

Our stay at Dee’s place was awesome. Home was exactly as advertised and beautiful. Totally enjoyed the salt water pool after long days on the water chasing Tarpon. We look forward to returning again soon.

Large clean, super equipped house with great pool and turtles

Communication and Check in worked perfectly. Kitchen well equipped, great pool , great BBQ and it is fun to see the turtles built their nest. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

Spring break fun in the sun!

We had a wonderful vacation here! The pool and hot tub were relaxing. I loved the tile around the pool very nicely done! The house was clean and cozy. We enjoyed being able to stream on the TV with our apps that we have. We drove to Sanibel island one day. It was also nice to use our paddle boards in the nice channel by the house. We made it all the way out into the sound! Thank goodness you had paddles because we forgot ours! Our son used one of the bikes to ride around the neighborhood. Definitely a 10/10! It was nice to meet the owners too!

Beautiful property. ChatGPT We recently had the pleasure of staying at Pine Island Center, and it was nothing short of total relaxation. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with every detail carefully thought out to ensure our comfort. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms spacious, kitchen well equipped. Very clean. Outdoor heated pool and whirlpool perfect. Hosts are warm, welcoming, and available to answer any questions.

Relaxing stay

Hot tub and pool were lovely, hosts are very nice. Unfortunately some of the art galleries, etc we were looking forward to visiting as listed on Pine Island tourist info were not there or shut down, so not much to do if you don’t fish.

amazing family vacation

Staying in this vrbo home is far superior to a hotel. We did both on our trip to florida. This house was so clean and a perfet fit for our family. The pool was a huge hit and the amenities of the kitchen and washer and dryer made our stay so comfortable . Pine island is so quaint with an old Florida feel. Small mom and pop spops delivered us amazing meals and endless entertainment.

Perfect getaway for our needs

This property was exactly what they said. It was the perfect location and size for our family visit. Everything was clean and fully stocked! We will definitely be staying here again when we come to the area. The response time for questions was short.
