Christmas at the Ozark’s

This was our 2nd Christmas to spend time with Family in the Ozark’s. The location was only 5 minutes from the Restaurant where we celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Brunch. Watched the Chief’s game before heading home. Alex great to work with very accommodating. We look forward to many more Christmas stays at this property.

Condo was very spacious, good location . Towels need replacing, worn and stained. Shower curtain liners could stand to be replaced as well.

Spacious; Freshly Painted; Small Issues

This property was nice. There were only a few hiccups during our stay and most seemed to deal with the bathrooms. The light cover over the shower in the upstairs bathroom fell off the ceiling and onto the person showering. The shower head in the downstairs bathroom to the right didn't fall off but flipped upside down causing a watery mess and the hair dryer wouldn't work. Many bugs also seemed to like the bathrooms, and there appeared to be a stash of dirty towels and bedding in the upstairs closet. Overall, the stay was good and worth the money spent.

Great property

We greatly enjoyed the property, however there were a few what we have to assume were “winter glitches”. First and foremost the house was adorable and very comfortably would have slept 10. We had 6. The view of the water was perfect, even in the winter months. The issues were that the walkway and steps were not cleared of snow, the water had a terrible sulfur smell, and the central light source (fan) in the living room did not work. Would definitely go back and only even mentioning these items so the owners are aware.

Mixed feelings

The unit was good and fit our family very comfortably the views of lake were great. We ran into an issue with the kitchen, we did notify the owners promptly and their response was quick. But couldn’t be fully resolved whike we finshed our weekend...this presented a bit of irriatation. Although we did understand and it was something unexpected on both sides...it made us have to change things up. Again I want folks to understand the owners responded quickly and unfortunately were not able to fix while we were in the unit.

Cute but not worth the stay

The place was dirty on arrival, stains on the carpet and bugs crawling out all of the drains. Everytime we cleaned them, they just kept coming back. On the stairs the carpet is coming loose. The host also tried to claim we had vomited which was impossible because it was on the side of the bed I slept on. The host couldn’t even verify because the “housekeeper” claimed it was there. If she really did have a housekeeper they need to be fired because the house was dirty. Our boyfriends stayed the previous week and even they said it was dirty on arrival. The place is very dark, not great lighting. The host was very dismissive when I tried to discuss the claim. The only nice part is the sun deck and the cute decor.

Nice Property but

This is a nice property but not well cleaned at all. When we arrived we were greated with a big 'ol ashtray full of cigarette butts and ashes on the deck. There was glitter all over the kitchen table and chairs, couch had wrappers, coffee table appeared to have never been wiped down, patio glass doors looked like they've never been cleaned, bathroom sink is broken down in basement ( water wouldn't drain), someone left their swimsuits on the back of the door of downstairs bathroom, upstairs bathroom light was broken and never fixed, kitchen floor was dirty, oven had grease smeared all over it, no kitchen wash rag or kitchen towels, no lighter for the grill and the grill had never been cleaned out. When we went to clean out the grill, there were no trash bags to empty out the grill. And the spiders hanging off the spider web just inside the entry of the door. The owner responded quickly when I sent a message regarding the internet/tvs not working. Overall, it's a nice property and location is great but the owner needs to find a new cleaning service.

Good location, spacious, needs better cleaning

The house is in a good location and the bedrooms are large, the decor is cute, but it does need better cleaning and some maintenance. The lock code was too obvoius and there was no secondary lock. The master bedroom windows cannot be opened after unlocking them. Luckily, there is a ceiling fan. The screens on the screendeck were ripped in many places and need attention. The floors, fridge, and showers were dirty on arrival. We dealt with it and did not complain or seek remediation. I notified the host on our day of checkout, as a courtesy, so they could address the cleanliness with their cleaning staff. They thanked me, but later charged me an extra cleaning fee. They indicated it was for moving heavy furniture, a small barrel chair, upstairs, which I do not recall being anywhere but upstairs, and extra cleaning. When asked why the extra cleaning fee, the chair was repeatedly referenced and I was sent a photo of the new 12-cup coffemaker we purchased and left for other guests to use (the house had a small 5-cup machine, inadequate for a house that sleeps 10 people) and of some items we left in the fridge. Upon our arrival, many things were in the fridge (and it was dirty and full of leaked water) and the check-in email I received said we were free to use whatever food/drinks other guests left behind (which we did not, but rather cleaned it out). They have continued to charge me the extra fee despite VRBO confirming I do not have to pay it.

Pictures don’t do it justice

Myself and 7 other people stayed here overnight. The pictures don’t do the view of the lake justice. There is a two-level deck that is amazing! The house was clean and very spacious. It had the kitchen items we needed and parking enough for 3 vehicles. The view/neighborhood are beautiful and the house is as well.

Bachelorette weekend

We stayed here for my daughter’s bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! We loved the vies and the screened-in back porch and spent a lot of time out there in the mornings for coffee and in the evenings for drinks and games. There was plenty of space for us all to spread out and yet, the living room/kitchen area allowed us to enjoy meals together and play games and take lots of pictures! We spent a day out on the lake in a pontoon and it’s a great central location to visit the lake bars. It was a great weekend!

Nice birthday getaway

We really enjoyed the property with the exception of housekeeping. The floors were not swept very well, one of the downstairs bathrooms had hair in it and it didn’t look like it had been dusted very well. We found it odd that you allow pets but don’t allow them on the beds or furniture, kind of defeats the purpose. Other than that, it was a really beautiful property.

What a fantastic retreat!

We wanted a Thanksgiving get away for family to gather and relax. We had relatives from Florida, Boston and Chicago come to visit at the Lake for the first time. What a great time everyone had. The home is both beautiful and comfortable, with great views and easy access to all the lake has to offer. It's a keeper on our list! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

a piece of heaven!

Large, comfortable & well appointed. We spent the majority of our time on the enclosed back porch/deck relaxing. The view is beautiful- we even enjoyed sitting out there when it was raining- super relaxing. Six ladies - three bathrooms = perfect! We’ll be back!!!
