This cottage has two bedrooms, two baths, two living rooms with pull out beds, kitchen, laundry room, an office, a large entertainment den with indoor/outdoor games for the whole family, bonfire area, and a deck overlooking the lake for breathtaking Michigan sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy the sound of the water and nature from outside your window, or better yet, take a walk into the water-It's right outside your window and deck!!! Priceless. Go for an outdoor walk, a hike, a bike or boat ride, go golfing, or take the ferry to Mackinaw island for a day at your leisure.

Great place to stay in the U.P. About 20ish minutes from st ignace which was nice because we spent a day on Mackinac Island. Very peaceful and relaxing area. My kids loved the paddle boat. Plenty of space for our family of 4. We would definitely stay here again.

The lake view was beautiful along with the very clean water! It rain and was a little chilly! We did use the paddle boat a couple of times! We caught some perch! The game room was great.

Great stay during our family trip to the UP! Our family loved the game room and lake in the background. Quiet and beautiful. There were leaches in the water so we stayed to the shore except when using the paddle boat and kayak. Also, the water smells like sulfur or copper but I’m guessing that’s due to the rural area so we didn’t mind.

Family vacation

We loved the variety of things to do here. The lake activities, rec room (ping pong table especially), and general area were a hit! The lake water was so clear and it’s amazing how shallow it is so far from the shore. We enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful lake retreat

Nice lake front cottage on Brevort Lake. About 25 minutes from the St Ignace Mackinac Island ferry. Sandy beach good fro swimming.

Nice place and location

Nice location on the lake and very close to the bridge and other activities. Be sure to visit sand dunes beach. House had everything we needed but could use some updating and cleaning of cobwebs.

Perfect home for my family of 4

This house was perfect for me and my family of 4. My kids (6 and 4) had a blast in the game room when we weren’t exploring Mackinaw and playing in the lake. It had everything we needed for a fun lake vacation.

We loved the location, quiet, views, and helpfulness of the property manager. We found the place a little beat up and not super clean, with a need of a few upgrades but only a few minor things... A solid value and very relaxing...

We loved the location of this property. It was directly on the lake and faces West so you get a sunset view every night. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit but it was a bit too chilly to swim. The well water has a sulphur odor but the host provided bottles of water. We noticed the two kitchen chairs were broken so we swapped them out for other chairs. Also the outdoor chairs are cracked. Overall it was a great location for visiting st ignace and Mackinac. It was very quiet and the lake view is amazing.

Right on the lake!

The property was exactly as described and had all we needed! It was wonderful to be right on the lake and enjoy the beautiful views and sounds! Close enough to town and Mackinac that they were easy to get to, but far enough away to feel like we escaped for a few days! Thank you so much!

Upper Michigan in the fall

Amazing cabin experience love the location, fall colors were most amazing all the extra amenities paddle boats, kayaks this cabin was such a hidden gem we would love to return in the summer to swim in the lake.

Mac Walk

My grandfather is from Manistique, we wanted to come up and walk the Mac as a bucket list item for my Mom. This was a great little spot to stay Before & After very relaxing, great location.

The house was exactly what was promised as far as space. There was a lot of dish ware and pots and pans to use and plenty of linens. The view and access to the lake are stunning. I believe with a little TLC this property could go from good to wonderful. Some items were dated and a little worn out. The landscape needed some extra attention. It would also be very helpful to have instructions on how to use the heating in the house. Overall a good experience for all of us.

Overall it met the needs. We were there to fish. The cabin could use a few small upgrades to make it more convenient. I was hoping to park our fishing boat at the dock/stakes but the water was too low. The water is low on all lakes though.
