Magnifique Cottage sur St. Baie Martins, lac Huron, avec ponton, kayaks et canoë!

Ce chalet confortable dans le nord offre une vue sur le lac Huron, y compris Big St. Martin's Island, Mackinac Island et le pont Mackinac. Il se trouve sur une grande clairiĂšre de 2 acres Ă  l'embouchure de la riviĂšre et du lac Huron, avec un puits de bateau pour un accĂšs facile aux aventures aquatiques. Bateau ponton Sweetwater 50 chevaux 2010 inclus dans la location de la saison estivale 2019. (Memorial Day - DeuxiĂšme semaine de septembre).

Les seuls voisins sont à l'arriÚre de l'allée, la propriété est complÚtement privée cÎté lac / terrasse. La cour ouverte géante est parfaite pour les enfants qui jouent à l'extérieur, aux jeux sur la pelouse, etc.

Les dispositions de couchage comprennent:
1 chambre principale queen au premier étage, une chambre à l'étage avec un lit superposé double et un lit jumeau supplémentaire, et une mezzanine ouverte avec un lit complet (et un lit gigogne en option en dessous) qui comprend une vue sur le pont Mackinac . Il y a deux salles de bain complÚtes sur la propriété, y compris une baignoire.

Il y a un énorme porche enveloppant et un grand porche grillagé avec des siÚges. Le gril à gaz et la table / les chaises font du barbecue sur le porche un must!

2 kayaks et un canot sont également disponibles pour votre utilisation pendant tous les mois (non gelés).

Nous avons le WIFI et une Smart TV avec Netflix, etc.

Cette propriĂ©tĂ© est situĂ©e sur un estuaire des Grands Lacs unique (oĂč la riviĂšre Pine rencontre les eaux du lac Huron.) Il n'y a absolument AUCUN dĂ©veloppement pendant que vous naviguez vers l'ouest par l'embouchure de la riviĂšre jusqu'Ă  l'embouchure de la riviĂšre Carp (2-3 milles).

Avis aux plaisanciers: Le bateau offre suffisamment d'espace pour lancer et amarrer votre navire sur place avec une rampe en ciment. (aussi, rampe DNR Ă  moins d'un demi-mille en amont de la riviĂšre). The property is beautiful and communication with the host was easy. The cleanliness of the cottage was a little disappointing after so many excellent reviews saying otherwise. High traffic areas are obviously cleaned well, but anything out of the way at all (under beds, windowsills, inside of washing machine, etc) were quite dirty. The cottage does not have AC, which was uncomfortable, but only on the first day of our stay before it cooled off. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cottage worked well as a base for day trips.

The place was really large and so peaceful being right on the water. We did not use the pontoon or the kayaks. Our dog enjoyed staying there. We saw the northern lights one evening. Easy drive to Saint ignace for meals and to catch the ferry. Porches were great.

Nice spot on the bay and river. It was quiet but still close to St Ignace. House had everything we needed. We enjoyed the deck, big yard, and firepit. We have made many trips to the UP and finally got the see the northern lights this time. We would definitely come and stay again.

The property was clean and comfortable. It is an Up North cottage and it felt like one. A couple things could be upgraded in the house to make it nicer such as new kitchen pans and other appliances like a new toaster. It could use some maintenance to the doors and light switches as well as railings around the deck. Other than that, it was exactly what we thought it would be. Also, we did not have the opportunity to use the pontoon boat or other water toys.

Had a great time with family all week! The cottage is in a great spot for day trips. We easily visited Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Soo Locks and Mackinac Island. Found lots of good places to eat near Hessel/Cedarville. The cabin was great, plenty of beds and space for 8 of us and our dog. Lots of space in the yard for yard games. We used the Pontoon a few times and kayaking up the river was fun as well. Host/property manager was very responsive. Overall great week!

Relaxing Get-A-Way

Here's a review based on your experience:---We recently stayed at a lovely home on the mouth of the Pine River and St. Martins Bay in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and it was an unforgettable experience for our family of five. My boys, who are avid fishermen, found the fishing here to be quite a challenge, adding to the adventure! The area is a birdwatcher's paradise, with an abundance of wildlife. We spotted eagles, ospreys, egrets, herons, ducks, terns, and more, which was a delight for all of us. The home itself was perfect for our needs. It was clean, well-maintained, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. It's also great that towels and sheets were provided, making our stay even more convenient.One of the standout features was the host's generosity in allowing us to use their pontoon, kayaks, and canoe. This made our stay even more enjoyable, as we could explore the beautiful surroundings on the water.Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this location for anyone looking to enjoy nature and family time in Michigan's stunning Upper Peninsula!

Beautiful location!

The location of this property is beautiful! Having the pontoon makes this listing! You can see the mighty Mac and the island from the front porch. We spent many hours up and down the river and in the bay on boat. The boat and cabin are nothing fancy but they did the job of making a fun family vacation. Dottie was great to work with and quick to respond.

Great Location

We loved the location and the large grassy area was a 5 star for our dog. The house is a perfect layout for a vacation rental. Since there were only 2 of us, we didn’t use the upstairs. The bed was very comfy and the living area was a good layout with comfy furniture. We feel that there were things that a good maintenance review and cleaning company could help overall. Some of the outdoor furniture is broken, while other pieces seem to be brand new. One of the screens on the porch was held up with electrical tape and blew off during a very windy night. The closets were full of things that were not organized but just placed in there in a jumble. The bathroom shelves were full of things left behind by other guests and the towels were haphazardly folded. A little organization made room for all the towels and our things that we needed. The shower, sink, toilet were all functional and clean. The kitchen needs some cleaning and organization. The fridge was obviously old, but worked just fine, same with the stove. We appreciated having a dog friendly location and we thank you for that consideration. Overall we were happy to have this wonderful house for our first visit to UP.

Perfect Location!

My sister and her BFF and me and my BFF traveled to MI to see Mackinac Island. This was the absolute PERFECT LOCATION. So close to the Ferry and towns. I do wildlife photography and saw 5 bald eagles (one in tree right by back deck) 2 adults, one sub adult, and 2 juveniles. Also took photos of Blue Heron, Double Crested Cormorants, mallard ducks, gulls, Pileated woodpecker, Northern Flickers, awesome milkyway shots and beautiful sunsets. We went to the island twice, and then to Mackinac City to see the lighthouse and Fort, St. Ignace for shopping and food. A quiet, quaint Oasis. Thank you very much for helping us to make lifelong memories!

U.P. Hideaway

A quick 20 minutes to the bridge and a relaxing ride to Sault Ste Marie. Northern lights viewing! House had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Didn’t use the pontoon, but nice feature for less windy days. Two bathrooms was amazing!!

Excellent Location - Beautiful Property

Excellent property and location. The location on the bay was excellent. The property was everything promised. It is actually prettier on the outside compared to the picture as it is now red which is great. Have access to the pontoon and kayaks was great and the Neighbor "John" was super nice and a great resource. We would stay again.

Really nice time

We enjoyed our stay here. Communication with the property owners was excellent. The house was as advertised. We really enjoyed the large yard and the privacy. The use of the pontoon boat was a nice plus. The kitchen was well equipped, although it's probably time to upgrade the refrigerator. tome to upgrade the refrigerator.

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen, mitten am See auf einem großen GrundstĂŒck. Sehr schön war die Nutzung von einem Boot. Das Haus ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und an manchen Stellen renovierungsbedĂŒrftig. In den KĂŒchenschrĂ€nken war es sehr unordentlich und teilweise auch schmutzig.

Wonderful lake house

This property was perfect for our family. The lake view from the deck were incredible! We viewed eagles, swans, and osprey all from the convenience of the porch. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our 1st trip to the UP. It was also conveniently located as a home-base to venture out and explore parts of rhe UP. Would definitely stay here again.

Very quiet and relaxing house

The house was very clean and only had neighbors on one side who were a very nice older couple. The house was perfect for my husband, me, and our dog who loved the huge yard but could easily accommodate more people. It was so peaceful being on the water and very relaxing. Great house!

Amazing UP getaway

We really enjoyed our stay on St. Martins bay! Really the perfect location with access to canoeing and boating on the quiet river, with a view of Lake Huron and boat access if wanted! It was really nice to have access to the owners pontoon boat! We went for multiple rides during our stay. Quick 18 min drive to St. Ignace for dinner (highly recommend the gangplank) or to catch a ferry, as well to a quick drive to more boating access in Hessel and Cedarville. Only 40 minutes to Sault Ste. Marie to enjoy the locks and Lake Superior. Beds were comfortable and clean, and the windows and fans helped for a cool evening the few days where it was warmer. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds, and spiral stairs (my two pretty active 75 year old parents didn’t care for them, and stayed in the downstairs bedroom). Yard was well mowed and our two dogs loved romping. We would definitely stay again!
